"I hired Mass and Mass to do some minor repairs on a roof. They gave a well considered and fairly priced quote. Wilson was excellent in the follow up as well and some added material that was needed was chanrged at cost. They came promptly and did the work well (with pictures of work) and efficiently. "Update on my previous review. They did finally come to complete my roof and gave me a 13% discount, but they broke my roof decking tiles and left many of them laying on the ground unconnected hoping I wouldn?t notice. They also appear to have purposely cut the connectors off many of them to make the fact that the tiles were put in incorrect less obvious. I?m now likely going to have to buy entirely new roof decking and pay someone thousands to get my roof back to its previous condition. Never trust this company to work on anything you care about or value!! This company is an embarrassment."

"My issue with Guardian is in regard to their Contract and billing philosophy. During my roof repair project, additional damage was uncovered. The Contract clearly stated that additional services would be completed on a time and materials basis. Guardian provided me with an estimate of $9,500 for the additional repair. After hearing that was only an estimate and that I'd be charged only for the time and materials spent, I authorized the additional work. The time spent on site working on the additional repairs was 19 hours. Upon completion of the work, I received an invoice that was opaque and presented little detail for approximately $9,500. An accompanying email indicated the additional repairs required 38 hours. This was ludicrous as the technicians spent a total of 37 hours on site for both the original contract work and the additional repair work. Guardian was in breach of their own Contract by not adhering to time and materials billing for the additional work. "

"They missed their first appointment to give an estimate. Chepi was scheduled to come and Shay Dee Barber showed up several hours early for the next appointment and began "doing work" when no one was home. No contract or permission was given to do any work. He tried to give an invoice which was 8 times tghe estimate from other roofers. His "work" had to be torn out and thrown away by another vendor I had to hire because Shay Dee Barber did such a poor job. Shay Dee Barber has no roofing skills. He angrily threatened "I'll put a lien on your house" which was laughable as he had no contract. L&I, who grants licenses said he only has a general contractors license and there is no skill needed. This is a "contractor" to stay away from!!"
