"Bought a home in Oregon, and needed a new water heater and parts, due to our prior home inspection. Found EAGLE PLUMBING WITH HIGH REVIEWS from previous customers. I called EAGLE PLUMBING, spoke to owner DARIN, was on his game and very polite And concerned about what we needed. Darin came out and new home with swift service and installed new water heater, sent pics of his work. We loved his on line to pay with credit card, super simple. Thank you DARIN!!"

"I hired a technician from Queen Pumps for what I expected would be a simple pump inspection and possible replacement. Unfortunately, the experience was frustrating and unprofessional. After examining my pump, the technician told me I needed a new one and quoted $480 for the replacement. The price seemed high, so I checked online while he was still there and found what appeared to be the same pump for around $250. I understand that companies mark up parts, but nearly doubling the price without explanation felt excessive. When I asked about the price difference, he simply said that is how they sell it. There was no clarification about warranty, supplier differences, or added value. I decided not to move forward with the replacement and told him I would have someone else handle it. At that point, he said I would need to pay for an additional 1.45 minutes he claimed he spent figuring out the installation. A toral rip off and very rude unprofessional communication "

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Medford, OR

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
