"Waxtel LLC did a major renovation on my co-op on Sutton Place South. The renovations included new bathrooms, new kitchen, painting, floor restoration and a host of other repairs and renovations. The Company is excellent and I would highly recommend them. Besides the excellent workmanship, the owner, Dave Waxtel, was extremely responsive to all issues. He removed a cabinet in the kitchen so we’ll he was able to reassemble it. He cleaned up nicely after the work was done, even mopped the floors! "Excellent. Dave Perrotta, Westbrook Contracting, LLC, was recommended to me by a friend. I am so happy I took her advice. Over the past two years, Dave and his crew have done a beautiful job completely renovating my kitchen and adding a small addition to the side of the house, which included a full bath and closet. The painting was excellent and not only did they paint the dining room, but they fixed the doors to my corner built-in hutch, so they actually close and stay shut. I have received many unsolicited compliments on both the inside and outside work and best of all, the house is just so much more comfortable to live in. I asked about putting a few clothes hooks in the small hallway for rainy day weather, and they built me a beautiful clothes rack, which gets so much use! The shower needed a glass door, something I had never purchased before. Dave not only suggested an excellent vendor, but assisted in the selection. Dave is very easy to work with and his crew is not only skilled but I am very comfortable with them in my home. In addition to his crew, I have been impressed with the quality of sub-contractors, vendors, etc., he used. "I can't say enough about Hector and his team. It was a big project involving tearing out an old rotting wooden retaining wall and installing one with interlocking blocks -- a LOT of blocks along a very long stretch, multiple levels, and in a place that machinery could not easily reach. I put it out for multiple bids, and some people just make up (higher) numbers. Hector's bid was very competitive, maybe even the lowest, and he did more work than anyone else was proposing to do. In particular, an additional design element that he proposed (he was the only one I talked to who took the time to find out what I liked and didn't like and made a creative suggestion for something new, rather than just replacing what the old one looked like). And then the team was all super professional and friendly, took the time needed to do the job right and it was a lot of very hard work. We've been getting a lot of compliments on the results. Would hire these guys again in a heartbeat."

"They worked very hard and the results were beautiful. They have a lot of talent. The plaster ceiling, which is difficult to work with because it is 12' high, and the walls in that same room were in awful shape and required gallons and gallons of plaster. The tin ceiling needed special care to avoid scratching when scraping off the old paint, and the plaster crown moldings around the ceilings were also difficult because they had curvy edges. Anton and crew did a wonderful job. I would hire them again."
