"The roof and trim were done, and look great. But I have a couple of issues .The crew was very unfriendly. I came out just to say hi, and they sneered at me and walked away without a word. Also, after they left I found out that they apparently cut an electric wire as I had a tripped breaker and now some of my electric baseboard heaters don't work. This was in an area where they replaced sheathing material right over my breaker box. I contacted the rep, who acknowledged my issue and I am waiting to hear back."

"Ed and his team at Maksim Roofing did a wonderful job for us. We have a flat roof that also serves as a deck above an enclosed room that had been added on to the original house. The roof/deck was deteriorating and unsafe. I contacted more than 20 contractors over a two year period, many of whom didn’t want to take on the job due to all the uncertainties, others who told me that the only option was to completely rebuild the entire addition, some who never responded to my inquiry at all. After leaving a message for Ed, I got a return call the same day, and he came to the house two days later. He proposed a solution that he described in detail and he also described his team’s experience with similar structures. I got a formal quote two days later. The project has been completed and we are very happy with the outcome. Every step of the process was conducted promptly, thoroughly, and professionally. "Our neighborhood was hit by a devastating hailstorm in 2022. The vinyl siding on the north sides of everyone's house was pocked with holes and gashes, roofs catastrophically damaged, broken windows, battered cars, tree limbs everywhere. Certainly, we had all seen storm damage much worse than what found after our storm, but we all braced for the challenges ahead: clean up, repair and even rebuild. As we picked up the pieces around our yards, contracting companies descended on our neighborhood. Dealing with the insurance end of the equation was already becoming a marathon--but the looming questions, who should we choose to repair our home, who will do the job well became a worrisome preoccupation for us and all of our neighbors. Our former neighbor, Ben F, drove by one day, and seeing me in the yard cleaning up, he stopped by to check in with us. Ben listened empathetically. He told us he had started to work for Craftsmen and asked us if we wanted him to give us an estimate. This experience has taught us that in the process of home repair and restoration (and I imagine in renovation too), you cannot let the idea of the perfect get in the way of the good. And Craftsmen delivers the goods! We have finally, and thankfully, come to the end of repairing our home! We 100% recommend Craftsmen if you are looking for a solid, local company that operates on principles of integrity and that goes the extra mile to ‘make it right.’ Craftsmen, like other companies following the hail event, met a different sort of storm—a storm of people needing repairs. The unusual circumstance meant that Craftsmen had to learn how to navigate a disaster event along the way. But as they learned best practices in the aftermath of our storm, they stood by their work. Now, as we stroll through our neighborhood, we often note how lucky we were to have made the best choice!
