Charles and his crew went to work on the install as soon as the parts arrived and completed the work as promised. When a problem came up, the AC crew was right here is complete the fix. Their expertise and workmanship was outstanding. We would recommend them to others considering having an remote security gate installed at their home."

"SG&A's owner (Mike) bid the work.  We ended up selecting his firm primarily due to their experience and design capability (they were able to "show" us what the gate design would look like with a simulated "picture" prior to any work being performed).  SG&A fabricated the gate based upon the agreed design.  We also had Mike orchestrate all the rural King County permits, cable/power line markings, electrical contractors, and trench digging (for electrical conduit supply) to the electrical supply junction.  Duke and David were his primary employees and appeared to be diligent in their work. <br> <br>The completed gate was installed late April (about a 3 month process) and is working well.  They include a one year maintenance plan and will be out in six months for a service call to ensure all parts, components, and operational aspects are in strong working order. <br> <br>While SG&A was the most expensive bid, I definitely believe we got a high quality gate that will last for many years.  We strongly recommend SG&A for your security gate needs."

"We are so happy with our new custom fence! This was not a "typical" job. It is a small yard that wraps around the back and sides of the house. We needed some areas to have privacy fencing, and some to have a picket with space between the boards, 4 gates, some pieces to connect to existing fencing, and some of the fence to sit on top of a retaining wall. The fence came out beautifully and totally meets our needs. They were very responsive when we needed the estimate and fully designed proposal. They scheduled the work as quickly as possible, and in the timeline we needed. They are highly recommended."

I called Doorman and they brought samples of possible replacement doors out. The salesman was very nice and knowledgable. He gave us the pros and cons of all the choices. "The quality is top-notch and Andrew was pleasant to deal with over email. Measurements of the steps were complete a week after I sent the first email and install was complete one month after that. Keep in mind that everything is custom built. Actual install of the painted railing took one day which included drilling into the stairs to anchor the posts with cement."

"We contacted contractor and he came over to estimate the job. He then suggested we go to material providers store to pick out stone facade that we wanted. He suggested two different manufactures and their locations. We went to manufacturer picked out style of facade. We notified the contractor, who then scheduled the installation. I am so glad that I checked Angies List and found them; <br /> <br /> Dave the boom truck operator was very professional and did a great job; he was also not rushed and took his time to answer my questions. <br /> <br /> Michael Opstrup is their electrician/installation technician and he was the guy I saw most often and he was great; He took his time and made sure I was fully informed as to what he was doing throughout the process; He responded very promptly to my text messages when I had questions along the way; <br /> <br /> In the end the gate looks fantastic and works perfectly; With the western red cedar boards that Economy Fence attached to the gate we now have privacy and security; We added the keypad on the outside of the post mid-project so delivery drivers can open the gate and leave deliveries; <br /> <br /> Angies list subscribers always want to know if anything went wrong and I have to say that nothing did with this project; I strongly recommend them for your gate needs. <br /> <br /> The only thing I would change about this process is that AE Gates shouldn't list fences on their web site; they cannot compete with the fence companies on price and they are very upfront about that when they arrive for the initial consultation but it threw me for a slight curve when I found out that I would have to contract out the new fence and the cladding of the gate myself; In the end it worked out great in that Economy and AE Gate worked very well with each other."
