"Beantown was really great to work with. We had all old shingles,tar paper and trim removed and had a window replaced. The new window was slightly bigger then the old one. It was no problem for the crew to install. The crews were punctual,respectful, knowledgeable and responsible. All old exterior siding was stripped, any rot found was dealt with, cleaned up at the end of each day. There was rot directly under the front door. The far corner of garage had massive rotting from years worth of small animals and ants.They were able to repair all areas without any problem. Any questions we had were answered in a timely manner. The materials were, are of great quality. They applied for and got the work permit from the town. They arranged for a dumpster to be delivered. Arranged for an electrician to come and remove exterior lights,meter and cables from house. We were told what and when things were going to happen. They have an attention to detail. The work included: Shingles,trim boards,tar paper, all nails pulled,wrapped entire house & detached garage in 2 different wraps, installed the new window, new siding & trim on both , new dryer and bathroom vent covers, new gutters and downspouts. They also boxed in the metal chimney pipe. Electrician came back and re attached meter,cables,etc to house. They also put up new lights we had picked out.The job was started on a Tuesday. Everything was completed 7 business days later. Our house went from the ugliest in the neighborhood to the most beautiful. We are still in awe of how nice it came out. "Putting a roof on can be a stressful process, never mind an expensive project. While Waterman was not the cheapest contractor I interviewed, they took the time to go over all aspects of the job, in detail, inspected attic and suggested moving the vents to the roof instead of the side of the house for better ventilation of the bathrooms and dryer. They also performed minor wood repair on the trim, using PVC boards instead of wood. Perfect fit and finish. Rerouted some of the downspouts as well. They registered the warranty with the roofing manufacturer as well. Very efficient installation. Crew worked well and fast without appearing to actually rush. They were just very efficient with their time and skill. There was a company rep there all day to keep the project on track. Only downside is, they were very busy, and our install date ended up being a bit longer than we expected. When the day came, they did a great job. The cleanup, the worst part of any roofing job, was done very well. We did, since the job, find a few nails on the ground. However, overall, the property was well respected and not damaged otherwise."

"The experience was very stressful. The siding crew was very rough on our 1774 home. They damaged portions of the trim, a window, and the metal roof. I had to constantly monitor the crew to make sure they minimized damage and completed the work correctly. It was difficult communicating with the Spanish-speaking crew. Materials are in my yard that still have not been picked up 2 weeks later. The finished siding looks good, but that is the best complement I can make. I had doors replaced by Power on a previous job and was very satisfied. I would be cautious recommending Power for siding replacement on a similar old house."

She also followed up by email to see if we had any questions and was very transparent on the extra cost of having to replace some of the decking. Will definitely use them again in the future if need be!"

Joe is honest to tell us that the roof is in overall good condition. Only a section needs to be repaired due to the damage from a poor de-ice job years ago."
