Did all new framing and even got me a great deal on the fence boards from a local supplier rather than paying over double at the big box stores. "The extended new wall solved a slope problem where the tree-like shrubs were leaning over into the neighbor's yard. The appearance of the wall and fence is much improved. The contractor's suggestion to put the previous fence's replacement on top of the wall was also very positive. The new wall and fence are much more attractive and stable than the previous. (A minor point: some of the debris from the previous wall was not removed.)"

"We were referred to Matt/MBA Deck and Fence by a local lumber yard and were also able to see him on Angie's List. He was prompt in coming over to our home over a month ago and seemed knowledgeable about the various brands and types of composite decking materials. Unfortunately even after a number of texts exchanged we have yet to receive the quote now over a month past his visit. We can understand being busy and not able to bid at the time so the professional response would have been to inform us of that fact instead of indicating that he would quote- perhaps even offer later availability. Very disappointing especially since he received a glowing recommendation from a local lumber yard."

"I took the day off so I could be there when they started the project and he didn't show and never contacted me. Had to call and get new start date. He shifted the start date with letting me know Was supposed to use stainless nails and did not. He did adjust the price by $100 after I noticed that he'd used all galvanized nails. I was not happy that the stainless nails weren't used. Gates had big gap between gate and post. He did fix this when I asked him to come back. He damaged my neighbors fence and when I complained he partially repaired what he damaged. Instead of calling again I completed the repair myself."
