"We were delighted with the service. Steven Lewis was the one that came out to the house. He was great but there was a snag. They contacted us and told us that we needed to have a little more work on the chimney and they gave us an outrageous price. The service was wonderful and Steven was wonderful. He gave us good information. We couldn't say better things about them and then they blindsided us. My husband went into the garage and grabbed some grout and did it in about 5 minutes. They wanted to charge us almost $300. My husband was quite irritated because he knows chimneys. Steven absolutely left not a shred of mess. He was delightful and fantastic until they came with this bogus amount. He said the grout was coming apart. The service was top drawer until they tried to get more money out of us by vastly overstating the costs. The service itself was very good. Their secondary services are inflated and we would advise getting a second opinion for additional work. We were really irritated and we will not use them again. The price was a little high but it was satisfactory for the bay area for the work they did. The quality of the work was exceptional."

"From the initial meeting with Bill Wong through the last day of work performed, my experience couldn't have been better. I selected Interstate Roofing from several roofing companies, all of whom provided written bids. Bill Wong presented a very detailed evaluation of the existing roof and recommended only replacing the oldest portion of the roof and repairing other problem areas. His in depth knowledge of his business, keen attention to detail, and willingness to consider replacing only part of the roof (at his suggestion, not mine) because the rest still had good life left were major factors in my decision to hire his company. The largest part of the job, replacing the front portion of the roof, was over a very large dormer attic space used as an enormous walk-in storage closet. Bill warned me that while they would take great pains to protect the space from debris, that for safety I should remove any items I was concerned about. I did move everything out. However, his crew was extremely careful about collecting debris from the 4 layers removed - both inside the dormer space and outside in the yard. I was amazed and delighted. They were also very careful with surrounding landscaping and plants. All crew members were courteous, punctual and hardworking. The work was completed in record time and needed to be as it was still during the "rainy" season. We had a window of dry weather forecast and they completed the work in that time. It's now over 4 years since the work was completed and the roof looks as if it were new. There has been no problem with any part of the work done. While the cost of the work was not the cheapest, the cost for the quality of roof was definitely a great value. All work detailed in the bid was performed in full. One other note - I had gotten a bid from Interstate a year before, and though under no obligation to do so, Bill Wong was willing to honor the figures in that bid. I would recommend this company without any reservation. They exceeded my expectations across the board."
