"We had Sam, Bradley, and Mason assist us with a move from one part of King County to the other. They were kind, patient, professional, adhered to CDC COVID-19 guidelines, and made our experience much more pleasant. Moreover, Emma also helped us locate crating and packing materials for the move."

"My mother used Moving APT for her recent long-distance relocation, and they did an excellent job. Their skillful packing and loading ensured that all of my belongings would make it to their new home in one piece. They handled every aspect of the move with kindness, transparency, and care. If you’re planning a long-distance relocation, I highly recommend them."

"Workers were polite and respectful, but amateurs compared to other movers I have worked with in the past. Past movers have easily moved files and dressers without removing drawers, for example, while these movers removed all drawers and left them out once delivered to the new location. Speed and efficiency was also somewhat lower than others I have worked with. They were adequately careful with items and nothing was significantly damaged."

"When they moved us out of our old home, they were thorough, friendly, and hard-working. They carefully loaded our things and were careful. The trouble with our move into our new home began the day before. They sent us a text message asking if they could start at 9 a.m. rather than noon. We were scheduled to have a final walk-through with our builder that morning and couldn't swing that big of a time change. The day of the move-in, we arrived at the storage unit as quickly as we could. They loaded the truck and were efficient. They laid down moving blankets on all of my floors so they wouldn't damage them. That was great, but they ruined an armchair because they decided to go through our sliding glass door rather than down the stairs. They wanted to waste time trying to fix it. (No offense, but I am not going to pay by the hour for you to fix something that you damaged.) They also put a large dent in the top of my practically new clothing washer. When we pointed it out, they said, "That wasn't there before?" Nope. It wasn't. They tried to fix it, which didn't work, and then only gave us a $40 discount off our bill. They were punctual, friendly and professional, but I'm not sure that we would hire them again."

"They were very professional and really took care of us. We had a lot of stuff to move out of storage and into our new house but they got it done in a timely manner and didn't make us go over the time limit we estimated. They were truly amazing and all of them deserve raises."

"Anthony and Uzi from Serg's did an outstanding job for us today. They kept us informed of their arrival time. Once here, they worked hard to accomplish the move within the agreed upon time constraint. We felt they took great care in making sure the furniture did not damage walls or floors while they were moving items up a flight of stairs. They were a pleasure to have in our home."

"I hired them a 2nd time even They moved along and and seemed very efficient and you could tell they had talents or skills for stacking in careful thoughtful ways into the truck . they corresponded with u in goodly ways. Their team work was exemplar.. They were strong and not whimpy... had great workers who here and there made goodly fun comments to keep spirits up and atmosphere happy and upbeat.. No negativity or vulgarity or swearing that can many times come over with some companies in unprofessional and unwholsome ways. They had great competitive pricing. I would recommend them to everyone ."

FAQs for out-of-state moving service projects in Ogden, UT

When you're getting estimates or finalizing the transport schedule, be ready to provide your mover with your motorcycle's make and model, weight, dimensions, value, and overall condition. Let them know your preferred shipping method—open or enclosed—and your desired timetable. Don't forget to discuss insurance options, pick-up and drop-off locations, and ask about tracking your shipment.

When you're preparing your motorcycle for shipment, wash it well and make a list of any notable damage. Remove all personal items and deactivate any alarms. If your bike is shipping via crate, drain the gas from the tank and remove the battery. Put it into neutral gear for shipping. Be sure to take plenty of pictures for insurance purposes, if needed. Note any pre-existing cosmetic damage, like scratches and dings, and write down the mileage and the engine's condition.

You can ship your motorcycle by truck, train, plane, or boat. These methods ensure that your bike is securely fastened with the proper tie-down equipment during the journey. Truck shipments can be done with either open or enclosed trailers, while trains, planes, and boats offer different logistical routes. Contact an expert carrier to confirm the specific details and secure shipping methods to ensure your motorcycle reaches its destination safely.

Keeping your motorcycle upright during shipping prevents battery acid leakage and protects against engine hydrolock by ensuring oil doesn't enter the combustion chamber. This helps preserve the bike's structural integrity and performance. Professional motorcycle carriers have the proper equipment to keep your motorcycle safe and secure during the moving journey.
