"This was one of the most professional and pleasurable contractors we have ever worked with! We needed our pool deck and patio area redone. We contacted 4 different companies for estimates but immediately, Roy Tatargia Masonry was steps ahead of the others. The cost was comparable and some even cheaper but what we loved about Roy, from the onset, was his responsiveness, follow up and attention to detail. He came out immediately after we spoke on the phone, to view our backyard. We then receive the written estimate the next day and he called to follow up to see if we had any questions. A few of the others didn't even send us an estimate until a week later. We had done our due diligence before we sought quotes, and had decided on a style/color before we reached out to contractors. Despite doing that, Roy made suggestions on the design/style and color which we ultimately used and were all the right suggestions! We wanted the job done asap for a family celebration in our backyard. He moved a few things around and scheduled us for 2 weeks later (which was tight) even though the wait time was at that time, about a month. He then called us the following day to say he had a cancellation and then the very next day, he started the job. Literally, brick pavers were delivered less than 24 hours later. The job was done in a few days and is gorgeous. We couldn't have been happier with every aspect of the job. We will use them the next time and highly recommend them. A++"

"We had known about this problem for some time and had also had a structural engineer evaluate our situation.  We may be putting our house up for sale soon and decided it was finally time to get the wall fixed.  Armed with my own research and the engineers evaluation, we searched for a contractor to perform the work we knew we needed to have done.  Upon contacting Foundation Experts, Larry got back to me very quickly and we set up an appointment for him to inspect the wall.  He was VERY thorough in explaining what needed to be done to stabilize the wall to prevent any further movement/damage.  He said we should have the wall "pinned".  He quoted us $4000 to do the whole job (10 pins along a roughly 25ft. long wall).  They also designed the system so that the re-bar would pass through the top course of block and attach to the house sill plate above the wall to help lock it in place.  
The price was on par with most other estimates (slightly cheaper actually), but we decided to go with Foundation Experts mostly because they were very thorough with their evaluation, were honest (I was armed with a lot of info about our situation and felt very confident that what he proposed to do was exactly what needed to be done) and they did not pressure us at all.  I also really liked the fact that they routinely work with engineers and felt that they had a better grasp on executing the work over other contractors we contacted.  They also will work with the township if permits are needed.
We scheduled for the work to start the following week.  Their team took about 2 days to do the work.  They were very professional and did not make a mess at all.  They put plastic up to prevent concrete dust from getting everywhere in the basement and cleaned up thoroughly.  Larry was present during the bulk of the work and made sure that everything went smoothly.  They even worked with us on the payment method.  He made it very clear if we have any issues/concerns or questions to call them anytime.  He also stressed that if we sell the house and potential buyers have any questions/concerns to contact him and they will work with us as best they can.  
The wall is now fixed and my wife and I feel better knowing that our wall won't come crashing down during then next heavy rain!  We also feel better knowing that we won't have to worry about foundation issues coming up if/when we sell our house.  All in all, it was a great experience!

"Back in April, my wife and I hired John Pinto (Go Carpenter) to address the following 4 issues at the house we recently purchased. 1) Installation of a fire door for the utility\laundry room 2) Repair of the main door which had cracks in the frame and would not close properly. 3) Repair of a sliding closet door in the basement apartment 4) Soundproofing the kitchen door leading to the basement Starting from the initial phone call onward, John was hands down one of the most responsive, professional and honest individuals, I have ever hired. He performed an initial walkthrough to meet and better capture the scope of the work so he knew what exact materials to purchase. It was during this visit that he found that there was no need to replace the entire main door frame. Instead, he suggested we try to use longer screws to anchor the door to the wall stud. Also, he found the kitchen door did not need to replaced. He suggested that he install a door sweep and better insulation lining around gaps in the door frame. It has been nearly two months since the work was done. I can honestly say that his suggestions were spot on, worked without fail and were highly cost effective. Speaking of pricing, that is another reason why I liked John’s approach. He charged us a flat rate for the labor based on the amount of time he estimated the project would take him and his colleague. He then purchased the materials and we simply reimbursed him based on the receipts when he was done. We knew exactly what products he purchased and installed and how much they cost. This method provides completely transparency and I appreciated it. All in all, John and his team were complete professionals and I am planning on hiring them for future projects in the house. He is an excellent contractor!"
