I bought a custom fit chimney cap myself for like $200 I think and then had emerald city retrofit and install it for $450."

While here he noticed that the ridge vent that they installed in 2008 was an older style that could possibly let in rain if it was blowing real hard. His crew was out the next day and they replaced the entire ridge vent over 4 hours with snow on my roof. It would have been very expensive to tear down and replace and Chris suggested several brick colors, dropped them over for us to consider, and drew some pictures of replacement chimney to match mid century house and neighborhood. He also reused old cap material on new chimney and was able to use material to repair rear brick chimney cap."
