Maurice replaced the hot water valve and then installed our new faucet with escutcheon plate and drain that we supplied and replaced the drain connection to new drain tailpiece. The repair and installation are quite satisfactory though it does seem that the project was rather costly especially for work we would have done ourselves but for the inability to replace the supply valve. "Woke up to no running water, I called Mike at Hillsborough Pump and Well at 7:30 am, he was there by 9:30. After checking the system and explaining what he found, he gave me the bad news, both my pump and tank needed to be replaced. I paid my $95 check out fee, (which he later applied to the repair) and told him I was going to get some other quotes. He was very helpful and provided me a written quote with specifics on the type of equipment he recommended. After making several calls and researching a bit online, I found his price to be competitive, but not the lowest, most importantly he was able to start right away. Mike came back the same day around 12:30 and started the job. Everything went fine, the job was done much faster than I had expected, then Mike ran into a problem. We were getting water to the house but not in the house. After spending a bunch of extra time he discovered a piece of the old pump had clogged one of the pipes inside the house. He did not charge me any extra for the additional labor or materials needed to correct the issue. I appreciated the extra effort and his professionalism. <br />"
