"Stay far away from this company. Original project went fine although it was expensive. However the past few months have shown me their true colors as I have tried to get some of the original work fixed. Be aware that they only warranty work for 12 months. We had the only four tiles on the step into our shower crack over the first year and I tried for months to contact them through email. No response. I finally left my name as a new customer, and they immediately called me (funny :)). They then asked for pictures and said they could fix it. I then discovered it would cost $600 to replace the four tiles they obviously installed incorrectly the first time. Correctly installed tiles would not all crack on the outer edge."

"Do not work with American Eagle!!!! American Eagle was hired by my contractor to do the plumbing for my kitchen and bathroom remodel. The contractor gave me an estimate two months before the work was scheduled to start. A week before the work was scheduled to start, American Eagle more than doubled the projected cost of the work (from $2,100 to $4,800). I wasn't in a position to postpone the project, so I had no choice but to agree. Most of the work they did was just fine, with one glaring exception. I'd asked them to reinstall my existing garbage disposal, which had been working just fine. When they took it out, they neglected to mention to me that it had a crack in it until a month later, after they had already reinstalled it. At that point, they left for the day - with the broken disposal still installed - and left me a voicemail saying they would sell me a new one and install it for an additional $963! My contractor talked them down to $500 (still an exorbitant price), but at that point I'd had enough. I found another plumber (Norblum Plumbing) on Angie's List who sold me the exact same disposal, took out the broken one, and installed the new one for a total of $263 ($150 for the disposal and $113 for installation). My advice, hire Norblum instead!"

There were no surprises or hidden /unexpected costs. The crew was professional and friendly. They listened and consulted with my wife. Smart guys."

"I rank Landson Construction #1 in the list of contractors we have hired in our 40 years of home ownership. Ari and his team of subcontractors recently completed a challenging remodel of one of our bathrooms--challenging because it is a very small area with limited space. Their finished job looks better than our separate remodel of a larger bathroom completed by one of the big firms that advertises daily on television. Examples: the tile work in our small shower is exceptional, and the vanity/oversized sink is a perfect match that does not dominate the small room. Ari Erickson (no relation to me) offered selections from his preferred vendors, but we had full latitude to shop on our own for all tile and fixtures. He and his subcontractors kept us fully apprised at all stages of the project, arrived promptly throughout the course of the work, responded promptly to our texts and emails, and cleaned up their work area at the end of each day. My highest recommendation: I always seek at least four bids for a major project, but I would forego that process and hire Landson Construction again for future building/remodeling projects, and would encourage friends and family to do the same."
