"Garret and his helper were absolutely awesome. Their quality and efficiency of work is top notch. Their work ethic is what I would expect from any professional. There were some unfortunate issues during the install and a Big issue at the very end, but everything was dealt with calmly and professionally. Would highly recommend Garret and JBR to anyone looking to upgrade to a walk in shower."

"Jared Lord, owner of Paul Haugen Construction, and his crew are outstanding. They are dependable, honest and do excellent work. Jared's labor and countertop cost for our project was $21, 473,65 (appx. $9K under budget). Our new cabinets, sink, stove top, range hood, tile and garbage disposal were separate costs that we paid for. Regardless, the total cost was below $50K for our beautiful and functional new kitchen."

"We recently completed a basement finishing project and had a great experience from start to finish. Alex was our main point of contact, and from the sales process through completion, everything was smooth and well organized. Communication was truly top notch — we received a daily video update showing progress and outlining the plan for the next day, which made the entire process feel transparent and stress-free. Roman and another crew member were on-site day in and day out, often from 7–8am until as late as 7pm, and their work ethic really showed. They were professional, reliable, and clearly committed to getting the job done right. We now have over 800 square feet of beautifully finished additional living space, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. Overall, we were very pleased with both the process and the final outcome and would absolutely recommend this team."

"Talk about an all around good guy! Had these guys come out for something that was well past my abilities and they knocked it out of the park. My wife and I were impressed by premium home builders timeliness and quality of work. Well definitely be asking them for help again"

"Premium home Builders was the contractor we went with to remodel our kitchen. We contacted 5 general contractors and got bids before deciding on going with Tony from Premium Home Builders. The project included demoing the existing countertops and cabinets in the kitchen, extending the existing hardwood flooring from the living room through the dining room and into the kitchen, relocating the water and drain lines for sink, adding a LPG line for the new cooktop, relocating electrical outlets, framing and drywall of soffit to extend an existing one, then the new cabinets were installed, countertops after that and all of the appliances installed. It was a total transformation as you can see in the before and after pictures. We are very happy with how this remodel turned out and all of the little extras Tony and his crew did to make us happy. Tony’s bid was one of five we got for the project, and his bid was the lowest. We were skeptical about going with the lowest bid but we did since Tony wasn’t using box store cabinets, but rather custom built cabinets (with all of the bells and whistles that are options for box store cabinets) for the unusual shape of our kitchen. Tony and team also came up with other ideas and suggestions that we really liked that the others bids didn’t have in them. Our house is a true octagon house. The kitchen is located in one of the 8 wedge shapes of the octagon and has a rectangular atrium on the outside wall. So it is a usual shape. Thank you Tony and the team from Premium Home Builders. We really love the finished project."

FAQs for bathroom remodel projects in Silverdale, WA

You can buy a replacement vanity by selecting a pre-made unit with an integrated sink from a local home improvement supplier. Pre-made vanities are designed for easy installation and compatibility with your existing plumbing. If a ready-made option doesn't meet your needs, consider hiring a custom builder to create a vanity that fits your space and style.

You can purchase a bathroom vanity from major home improvement retailers like Home Depot and Lowe’s or online stores like Wayfair, which offer a variety of pre-made vanities. Visiting local showrooms and bathroom supply stores can also provide professional advice and help you choose the right vanity for your space.

Installing your bathroom vanity flush against the wall enhances stability and prevents shifting. This placement also eliminates hard-to-clean gaps and keeps your vanity securely in place. Building codes often require a minimum clearance of four inches from bathtubs and at least 21 inches of free space in front of the sink for accessibility and safety.

You can upgrade a single vanity to a double vanity by installing additional cabinets, a second sink, and matching fixtures. This process requires additional plumbing adjustments, countertop modifications, and careful alignment to ensure both sinks function correctly. Upgrading to a double vanity enhances bathroom functionality and offers more space, which is especially beneficial for shared bathrooms.

The best vanity top material depends on your budget, style preferences, and maintenance willingness. Materials like quartz or solid surfaces are excellent choices for durability and low maintenance. If you're on a tighter budget, laminate is affordable but less durable. Consider how much traffic your bathroom gets and choose a material that balances cost, appearance, and upkeep.

Installing a bathroom vanity takes between three and six hours. Simple installations may be completed in under three hours, while more complex projects requiring adjustments or plumbing modifications can take up to six hours or more. The installation process includes assembling cabinets, placing the countertop, installing the sink if necessary, and connecting plumbing.
