"Bruce arrived to start the job on time and is quite methodical, with everything going in the right order. He has the tools to do ANYTHING and completely filled our 2 car garage with tools, materials, cabinets, etc. Since everything was replaced, he had to use skills on so many levels, including dry wall, insulation, flooring, electrical, plumbing, granite work, painting, heating, etc. I think he truly excels at molding/trim work and the cabinet installing. Perfection. An example of true attention to detail: Since they had to cut into our floor joists (beneath the bathroom) to accommodate new drain systems, Bruce took it upon himself to find a local metal fabricator to create steel U-shaped supports so that our floor remained as strong as before. Some people would have left that out.... He wanted things to be correct and often asked for our approval...making any changes we requested along the way. He is approachable. He had a great, professional introduction the first day we met and proposed a budget. Why we did not give Bruce all A's---and if there is any down side---it would be a rather severe minimizing of the total amount of time needed for the project. As a builder, he is hard to fault in that we did stick to our agreed budget and if he was working for weeks beyond the planned completion time...well, it was not costing us any more. I believe Bruce to be a very honest person and understand that any building project has delays. Toward the end, as another project became reality, I believe Bruce lost some focus here. That said, we are happy with our finished bathroom and make a positive recommendation. Your Designs LLC can be trusted. ((I am having trouble porting over pictures...sorry...if I can add them later, I will. For now, I can say I think it looks just as we planned...and this company delivered!))"

"Slow but the outcome was fantastic. We gave Kevin an idea of what we were looking for as far as look, layout, functionality, etc. He came up with initial sketches which were pretty close to what we had in mind. We made some minor modifications to the plan, and then got started. We had to do quite a bit of site work with utilities and excavation, which resulted in multiple delays (most of which were out of Kevin's control). The workmanship on the garage is very good. Kevin consulted with us on every detail of the project - layout of the driveway, stone on the exterior, roof & paint colors, lighting options - and gave his opinion on what would work and not work. Kevin's stone mason is amazing! The garage came out looking exactly like I pictured. I would work with Kevin again on any home project. <br />"

"We had an emergency situation where the tile was crumbling due to a long term water leak behind the wall. I called 4 different contractors and Mike was the only one who knew the importance of looking at the situation. He came that same evening, evaluated and gave a price on the spot. He provided us with a list of material which we ordered on line and Mike picked up himself and brought with him. After the end of everyday, Mike showed us his progress and picked up before he left. Except for the beautiful new tile work we never knew a contractor was there. Mike is obviously a very gifted and knowledgeable contractor. "Matt and I had a verbal agreement for him to do 3 things; replace a light bulb, hang a 3-panel picture and construct/build a enclosure at the bottom of my stairs so my pets could not get into the finished basement. When Matt arrived he did hang the 3 panel picture and change the light bulb but was reluctant to build the pet enclosure as it was his opinion it could not be done. He then charged me the full amount of the verbal agreement asking $180 to change a light bulb and hang a picture. When I inquired about this, he said I owed it to him. I had a similar experience with Matt when he remodeled my family room and basement. It was in the contract that he would be responsible for paint. I purchased some of the paint and when I inquired with him he said I owed it to him because I changed colors. No paint had yet been purchased for the area. Matt is excellent at what he does and I would recommend him but you should be careful to ensure you have everything in writing and stick closely to the contract. Because of concern with Matt's ethics, I will not be using him further. You may not encounter this with him but it was my experience. Matt will most likely reply with some rational on why what I have stated is not accurate but it absolutely is. I have no reason to fabricate anything like this."
