"Ray called the next morning, and arrived on the date and time agreed upon. He inspected the upper storage area, the crawl space and the foundation around our house. He found old droppings and caught one juvenile rat in a trap he had set the day before. So, to ensure no more critters could enter our space, he repaired our crawl space air vents, and secured other potential entries in the crawl space, upper storage and around the roof eaves. He then set several traps just in case any more who might have been in hiding. Ray was very thorough, courteous, and knowlegeable. "Excellently! Raccoons had nested in between our subroofs and had left urine and feces all over the roof. Get Smart closed off all potential entryways for raccoons to nest on roof. Raccoons gone! They then sanitized the entire roof. Important with a 2-yo and 4-yo at home. Great job! Roughly 1.5 years later, our roof became a "latrine" for local raccoons. Not living there, just visiting at night and littering the roof with feces and urine. It was a mess. Get Smart used a series of humane tactics to keep raccoons from coming onto our roof at all. They monitored and viewed as activity decreased to 0. They then sanitized the roof to remove all raccoon feces and urine. No raccoons harmed in either process.
