"Job One: I thought I needed a new outer door but Jeff (the owner) suggested refurbishing the existing one which was more cost-effective. It hasn't looked this good since moving in! Job Two: I couldn't afford a whole new kitchen so Kelah, Austin and Joe worked their magic by taking the cabinet doors off and with new hardware and a couple coats of paint on the cabinets, ceiling and walls, I now have a really cheerful "new" kitchen. The crew was great to work with and even accommodated my small extra requests of putting new light switches in and helped me create a new hanging wall coat rack. JJB Home Improvements is fortunate to have a knowledgeable and friendly crew. Keeping them altogether is Tom, their office manager and juggler of all things scheduling and billing-wise. "As all the other reviews mention, Andry can be difficult to understand due to the language barrier and accent. When I called to schedule an inspection for a quote, he just said he would be in town on Sunday & would call me when he would arrive. Instead of calling to say he would be there in an approximate time, he called when he was outside the house, which was unfortunate because I had just run to the store and had to turn around immediately. When he came back out to sign the actual contract/invoice, he did call to give me an approximate arrival time so I could plan to be home. The original quote was written on the back of a business card. If it wasn't for the other reviews, I would have dismissed him outright. <br /> I had a corner of the foundation that was seriously cracked and chipping away. It was mostly a stucco exterior, but the underlying concrete was damaged too. He came on Sunday to sign the contract and came back on Monday to do the work. I came home from work that day to find him cleaning up after restoring the entire side of my foundation. It was beautifully done and looks like solid work. The only downside is that it doesn't match the other 3 sides because they have a "roughed up" white stucco look. He told me that I could easily paint the concrete to match, which I may or may not do. I like Andry's work much better than the original look of the white stucco exterior. It's a nice seamless piece of work. <br /> I regret not taking a "before" pic because he took a worn out, crumbling slab of foundation and made it fresh & new. <br />"
