Sol is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions, and I felt very comfortable with going ahead to have his company install a chimney liner. "We've used this company before in our last home that had a pre-fab fireplace so decided to use them again to inspect/clean the chimney in our newly purchased home. Just as before (when we were pre-Angie's List) we were very pleased. The lady who answers the phone and schedules the appointments is friendly and knowledgable. Shawn came out to our new home just as with our previous home. He was on time and provided a very thorough inspection and explanation of what he was doing. He found cracks in our chimney cap that were missed by a previous service. He explained to us the cause of the cracks and the repairs that will be possibly needed down the road. Additionally he showed us how the ash dump works but also cautioned us against using it and the reasons why. (Evidently it wasn't up to code and could cause a fire.) We were especially pleased as Shawn noted that the previous owners had barely used the fireplace so there was no need to clean it. It's nice to find a company that provides honest, reliable service. "The job began with major repairs in mind, but upon further review while making the repairs a change in plans occurred and Anthony and Ryan ended up demolishing the chimney and rebuilding it. Anthony explained everything they were doing as the project progressed. The project took one week. Nick had the roofer come out 3 days earlier then planned to build the "saddle" and install the flashing. We were very happy he did since we had a down pour the next 2 days. <br /> Anthony and Ryan were as concerned about the cleanup as they were with the construction of the new chimney. <br />"
