"Sabino was great to work with. He was professional and thorough when initially inspecting roof. He completed a major job with tear off of layers of asphalt and cedar shingles. He installed the new roof with quality products. Most importantly he worked well with us in a honest manner when issues arose to rebuild a chimney and replace beams on a rotting porch. His prices were very reasonable. He did a solid job cleaning up the area when finished. It is never an easy experience to have an old roof torn off and replaced, but Sabino and his workers made the experience positive."

Remodel/Renovations
"Excellent work and work ethic! Showed up on time every day. Cleaned up every day and as needed. Dale was previously a physical therapist. He considered ideas for us. We are a senior couple, wanting to downsize. He installed a pocket door and washer/dryer in the bathroom instead of us going up and down basement for laundry. An older house caused some structural changes (some walls and heat ducts had to be changed). They competed the job in efficient and timely manner despite these changes. He and his assistant were considerate of our handicap and age. I felt very comfortable when they were there. Our new walk-in shower and bathroom has made it easier for us in our daily lives. Thank you Dale and Randy!"

"Mario and his crew were very accommodating and the communication was better than expected from a construction crew that was working on my home for a month. Never had an issue with Mario responding to a question, even on the weekend. The work to finish my basement was solid and his attention to detail was very refreshing. I hit them with a couple of small changes (lights, sockets, re-positioned baseboard heater) and one larger one (banister) during the project and the crew got 'er done. I would recommend anyone having a basement or finishing project done to (at minimum) give Mario a call to see if his crew can help you enjoy your home even more."

"TJ and Todd went the extra mile to make sure all of our requirements were met and we were happy with the results. Their cabinet building is excellent and their other work is right on. Changes along the way were no problem, and they were very willing to work with us. On top of all this, they finished the job in record time, even sooner than their estimate."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
