"There was a delay in starting because they are in demand. Once started the project proceeded without interruption. The workmen were very careful to keep the area outside their work clean and undamaged. They were efficient and finished a hard job in record time. The end result is exactly what I wanted and the finishes are perfect. No more carrying clothes up and down 2 flights of steps."

"We love our basement remodel. Peter, Alex and his team were here when they said theyâ d be here, completed the job as described, and kept us updated along the way. The basement now looks and feels clean and bright. The additional space doesnâ t feel like a basement at all and is enjoyed by the whole family. We highly recommend Lux Renovations."

"Fantastic work on remodeling our very outdated master bathroom. They listen to what we wanted in our master bath & we are so happy with the way our bathroom was updated! We are also planning on updating our kitchen & having Tile ProS tile our kitchen backsplash."

"Andrew, his crew, and sub-contactors did an excellent job and I highly recommend them. Starting with Todd who reviewed the options available for my bathroom remodel, to Andrew and Chris who demolished and removed the existing tub, tile walls, tile floor, and trim with no damage to the rest of the house. Then installed the vanity, tub surround, floor, and trim. The plumber corrected the problems with the pipe and drain that caused the initial leak problem by updating to newer materials. He verified that there was no lasting damage or mold under the old tub before installing the new tub. The electrician added the tub ceiling light, an additional outlet in the sink area and updated the existing units to GFCI standards. The painter matched the existing wall color and painted the trim with no dribbles or drops. Andrew was responsive to my questions and accommodating to my schedule. Good job!"

"A.W. Viohl Contracting recently completed my bathroom remodel and it looks amazing! The project was completed on time within budget and there were no surprises. All the workers are skillful and were courteous and respectful of my home and family. The work completed very high quality and I am very happy with the services they provided. I was referred to A.W. Viohl Contracting through a work colleague and plan to have them back ASAP to remodel my master bathroom."

"So, as mentioned before, I did end up sourcing my vanity top and vanity elsewhere. I ended up getting Home Depot to do both. (Hope Depot outsourced to other contractors of course.) The price and quality from Home Depot was better than my other choices. But this review is about First State, so let me return to talking about them. First State was perfect in everything they did. * The sales process was very smooth and responsive. * They had a bit of backlog, so I had to wait a bit, but they were very communicative throughout the process and scheduling was more than satisfactory. * They were extremely flexible with dealing with my external vendor (for the vanity top installation). They were VERY accommodating and appreciated it. * They did high quality work. On all parts: tub work, tile work, plumbing work, vanity work. As well as in keeping disruption to a minimum and professionalism. * They were very communicative and responsive about when they would show up, what work would happen when, and dealing with the whole process. * They went above and beyond on several minor things that were not in the contract."

"I hired these folks to repair a built-in gas fireplace. This company was very responsive, communicative and prompt. Our tech was Nick, and he was excellent. He arrived right on time, diagnosed the issues, explained them to us in detail and was even able to fix them on the spot. He also did a safety inspection, as our unit had not been used for some time. Following service, he went the extra mile to vacuum up any dust and debris left by service - very much appreciated! Nick was courteous, knowledgeable and capable - I would happily have him back for any future needs with our unit. The price for service was very reasonable and came with a written, itemized estimate."
