"Emrah and his team were very involved in making sure my bathroom tile project had the best possible outcome. He suggested the best type/size of tile, grout color, edging etc. that would create the best look. He took his time and was very detail oriented. He did not take shortcuts or worry about the amount of time he had to spend on the project to make sure it was right. He was willing to negotiate his labor cost upfront and never tried to add additional labor cost even thought the project took a little longer than expected due circumstances beyond his control. He asked for half of the cost upfront and the other half only after the project was completed, inspected by me, and any issues resolved. I have other projects at the house in mind and plan to hire Emrah in the near future."

"Master bath remodel turned out well! Jeff and his guys are easy to work with and very responsive. Jeff is also very good at offering alternatives when things don't go quite as planned (sourcing fixtures, working around secrets hidden in walls, etc) and suggestions when you need some guidance in making a decision. Also, he and his guys are good with communication via text/phone. No one had to be home for much of the process and I had no reservations about leaving the key for whomever was scheduled to work. The work space was tidied up at the end of every day so I didn't have step over 'construction mess' everywhere. I plan to use them again for the kitchen remodel."

"Hired Hotchkiss Construction to remove concrete side patio area and replace with wooden deck for my Mother's home in San Antonio. They were also able to retain, after some adjustments/repairs, an existing patio cover. Brian and his workers were very responsive and accommodating. "I would like to share a very positive experience with my hall bathroom remodel. As a repeat customer of D. Michael Designs, I knew he did excellent work. The bathroom had one slight modification (wainscoting) about 20 years ago and was otherwise as it was built in 1983. I had an idea of what I wanted but knew I would need to rely on David's designer input. We knew the foundation of color-scheme desired and proceeded from there. Upon David's visit the next day, he brought tile samples and more for us to look at. His selections were completely in-line with what I envisioned. We selected the materials and then discussed design. He brought viable, exciting ideas to the table, and we quickly agreed to the direction we wanted to go. The results are nothing short of fabulous. I find myself going in, turning on the light (and silent fan) and just embracing the beautiful bathroom created. Thanks to Angie's List we received 3 great designs for our backyard work. All summer long we had dirt covering the area next to our new addition. When we talked to Eric, we liked his ideas and he seemed to be on track with what we wanted for a design. So we hired EMG Landscaping to transform our back yard from a dirt pile to a yard where we can have family barbecues and fun gatherings. After he started marking where the concrete would go, we had a few changes of which he was very willing to accomodate and quite reasonable also. His concrete crew was very professional, polite and cleaned up after each day. Eric put in the retaining wall with stones matching the house color and it is lovely. The 50 foot french drain is covered with large rocks so they will not wash away in a big rain storm. Eric and his landscaping crew were also very professional as they put rocks around our trees and laid a pallet of grass where needed. Everything went smoothly and all our questions and suggestions were listened to and answered. This company has a great future and we will certainly use them again. In fact we are thinking of having them put in a water feature next year. We enjoy walking out in the yard and admiring all the superb work done by EMG Landscapes.

"I chose ARS out of 6 candidates for my bathroom remodeling project because of Marcus Armstrong. When I explained what I wanted done Marcus was the only contractor who said my particular request to have a walk-in shower was possible and gave me some ideas/choices. And what really determined my decision was the bathtub part of the project. I was leaning towards just leaving it as is, until he came up ideas to help me decide. Marcus's ability to visualize possibilities and provide me with great choices is such a necessary talent which I relied on heavily throughout the entire project and is just ONE of his many great qualities. I always felt that he was fully invested in making my renovation a great experience (and restores my damaged, by horrible experiences, faith in hiring contractors) and like it was his only project. So the professionalism is another high quality trait that is greatly appreciated. I could write a book on all the great qualities Marcus/ARS has, but aside from what I've already listed a few more important traits for a contractor to have is integrity, dependability, and honor. You will pay more going through a renovation specialist, but it's worth it because they deal with all the headaches of hiring and management of all the specific contractors needed to accomplish specific tasks. And ARS does so while providing a guarantee that all work will be completed with high quality standards even when the project is complete I know if something fails to work properly or for instance cracks in the grout are forming that Marcus will get it fixed even though my project is completed. That is also worth the extra you are paying for. There is so much more positive things I could write about these guys so I end this with a glowing recommendation for ARS and my next project of renovating my kitchen & living room will definitely be done by ARS."
