"I was very satisfied with the end result, however, the process of getting the project scheduled was a nightmare.  It was almost two months from the date we went to contract, with a significant deposit, to the beginning of the actual work.   The most troublesome issue  was that I was not contacted by anyone from Digorgio to keep me informed about scheduling.  Granted, it was a rainy time and much of their work had to be postponed.  That is totally understandable and acceptable.  However, weeks went by without any attempt to inform me of the delay of this project.  To add insult and frustration to injury, I contacted them at least 3 times and was spoken to in a very rude manner or was never called back.   The roofers were professional, unlike the management, they did a very good job.   The Leaf Guard installers were a different story.  They were rushed, rude and left a mess.  DiGorgio did get them to come back and clean up.   Overall, it was a trying process and the inspector at the end of the job was apologetic and professional.   I would probably use them in the future but I would NOT accept any nonsense.  Live and learn.

"We live in a prewar coop building in Manhattan and were in need of a kitchen, living and dining room/den renovation. Because of the limitations in our building, we were not optimistic that many changes could be made that would dramatically alter the feel/function of the space. Inson Wood proved us completely wrong. With his architectural eye and his impeccable design aesthetic we (and everyone who has been here before and after) experiences our apartment as an entirely different living space. Even family members are shocked at the transformation. I think that what Inson accomplished was the product of a few significant factors. First, Inson asks you what you want and seriously considers how you live. If Inson thinks that different approaches should be considered for what you want, he provides renderings of each option so that you can easily visualize and imagine them. Ultimately, Inson respects your preferences and works with them, elevating them to a level far above what you had imagined. Inson uses the highest quality vendors (whom we NEVER would have found) and expertly guides you through choices (note: follow his recommendations!!!)- our walls would never have had dimension and our kitchen backsplash never have been so unique (two examples) if not for the artisans that Inson uses. Inson is also willing to have you be as much or as little involved in the process as you want to be. I did go with Inson to choose many pieces of furniture but realized after a certain point that his taste point made me confident in him choosing much finishing work (ex: window treatments, decorative cushions, which I love) without me. As with all design work, there are always glitches and Inson was extremely responsive and responsible for taking care of those as they came up. We are nothing less than thrilled to come home each evening and enjoy our space, which feels like a luxurious retreat perfectly tailored to us."
