"In 2022, we decided to add a new kitchen and substantially remodel our mid-1960s Edmonds rambler. After reading many on-line reviews and meeting with several contractors we decided to go with Johnson and Sons.....and we are so very happy that we did. From the very start we were impressed with how open, honest and responsive Vic Johnson was, a trend that continued throughout our project. As you might imagine, a significant remodel and addition to a 60-year old home is likely to bring with it surprises and our remodel was no exception. Despite the many challenges encountered, Johnson and Son and their subcontractors readily overcame them. Among the many lessons we learned during our remodel was the value of quality subcontractors. Vic's relationship with his subs in some cases extend more than a decade and the depth of these relationships was reflected by the quality and timeliness of their work. All in all we feel that the workmanship, attention to detail and care shown by all involved in our remodel was superb. We highly recommend Johnson and Sons to anyone looking to remodel their home."

"Jesus at Above and and Beyond Painting and Remodeling is absolutely wonderful. Jesus came to my condo for a bathroom redo but I was so impressed with him I had him redo my entire condo. I can’t speak highly enough of Jesus, Rolando who works for Jesus and the vendors Jesus works with. Jesus transformed my plain kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities beautifully that they look like brand new high end cabinets. The new flat stock baseboards and trim Jesus installed really modernized my condo. Rolando did an immaculate job of painting my new door molding, baseboards, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities and doors. Jesus’ quartz countertop vendor did an amazing job and his tile vendors did a wonderful job on my entryway tile, bathtub surround and my fireplace. Jesus is great at listening to exactly what you want and coordinating vendors so your renovation keeps moving along. Throughout the process I kept adding more and more items and Jesus was always accommodating. If you want a contractor that is highly responsive, honest, keeps things moving along, that wants to make sure you are absolutely satisfied with the work done and that is just a great person to work with, then Jesus is who you need to complete your home project. "Vanderlip Construction brought our ideas and vision to a reality on a master and guest bathroom remodel in our 1961 rambler. Eric is both an organized contractor and an experienced craftsman. He is a thoughtful and very responsive communicator who we could always count on to perform the tasks he scheduled throughout our project. He brought in very skilled team of subcontractors who he made sure didn’t disrupt our home life and office work activities. Eric was generous with sharing his expertise and insights that helped us make decisions on key details. We had about an 80 percent design and selected all the tile, fixtures, and custom cabinets but Eric’s attention to detail brought it all together, especially on our counters and master bath shower. Always patient and friendly, he wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the progression and the outcomes. He’s also committed to backing up his work. I suffered a serious leg injury after the remodel and Eric kindly went the extra step to come to our house and install a new light fixture in our bedroom. He scored an A+ on both bathrooms and we made a new friend."

"Joe did a solid job of removing over 100 linear feet of asbestos pipe insulation and another 200 sq ft of asbestos linoleum from my 100-year old house. Professional, fair price (consistent with other bids), and much more flexible on scheduling right away. He's a bit casual in communications and invoicing. I had to ask for the following asbestos lab reports. But I was more than happy that he could take care of all this on short notice."
