"In 2022, we decided to add a new kitchen and substantially remodel our mid-1960s Edmonds rambler. After reading many on-line reviews and meeting with several contractors we decided to go with Johnson and Sons.....and we are so very happy that we did. From the very start we were impressed with how open, honest and responsive Vic Johnson was, a trend that continued throughout our project. As you might imagine, a significant remodel and addition to a 60-year old home is likely to bring with it surprises and our remodel was no exception. Despite the many challenges encountered, Johnson and Son and their subcontractors readily overcame them. Among the many lessons we learned during our remodel was the value of quality subcontractors. Vic's relationship with his subs in some cases extend more than a decade and the depth of these relationships was reflected by the quality and timeliness of their work. All in all we feel that the workmanship, attention to detail and care shown by all involved in our remodel was superb. We highly recommend Johnson and Sons to anyone looking to remodel their home."

Classic provided a very thorough bid proposal and was always willing to follow up with any questions we may have. "We have an older place that we wanted to have the bathroom remodeled in. I filled out the info on Angi and received a call from Eric with Vanderlip Const. He set up an appointment and came out and looked at our project and listened to what we were wanting to have done. He was very thoughtful , personable, and knowledgeable about all of the things that we were wanting done and more. One of the very best things about Eric is that he is very honest and upfront, but doesn't slam things in your face when he tells you. Because of the age and condition of our place he suggested we get a few things done before conquering the actual bathroom remodel. We thought about what he suggested and agreed that was the best thing to do. He set us up with a few of his subcontractors to get estimates and timelines on their part of the work to be done. All of them have been very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. We did schedule work with one of them so far and he was absolutely fantastic, and very reasonable. We are still working the the others and trying to get one item done at a time. Eric is always checking in to see how things are going and asking if there is anything he can do to help. We will hopefully be done with the "things you don't see" and can have Eric come in and get our actual bathroom remodel done soon! We feel good about the decision to follow his advice and get some underlying issues done first!"

"Joe did a solid job of removing over 100 linear feet of asbestos pipe insulation and another 200 sq ft of asbestos linoleum from my 100-year old house. Professional, fair price (consistent with other bids), and much more flexible on scheduling right away. He's a bit casual in communications and invoicing. I had to ask for the following asbestos lab reports. But I was more than happy that he could take care of all this on short notice."
