"Jose remodeled two full bathrooms in my townhouse. One of the remodeled bathrooms was a shift in the actual layout/dimensions of the bathroom itself. It entailed moving a wall and configuring a new closet space. I had an idea of how the new layout of the full bath should be, but Jose helped decide the right shower size/vanity dimensions to make the most out of the space. When it came to pick out the finishes, he was very helpful if I had any logistical questions (will it fit? Is it the right type? Will I need any additional parts, etc). Jose is also a great collaborator to brainstorm ideas. He could also gently and respectfully talk me out of a couple of my bad ideas which I appreciated. A couple of unforeseen issues arose during the construction that were outside the scope of the project and Jose talked me through the problem and was able to get the right people (HVAC, Plumber, etc) out to fix the issues. One thing that I found to be incredibly valuable was that Jose was VERY responsive via phone call or text messaging. I could call or text him day or night if I had any questions/concerns. "My husband and I hired Lasting Strength after a very stressful experience dealing with a previous contractor who did a terrible job remodeling our bathroom--specifically a horrible shower tile job. Adam came to our house to give us an estimate within the week and began work three days later. He was extremely detail-oriented and skilled. He and his associate Danny repaired our bathroom tile work and also did our planned kitchen reno. He did all the carpentry/cabinet work in the kitchen and suggested ideas of how to handle some challenging issues in our kitchen. He executed brilliantly on all these things and left our new kitchen looking exactly as we dreamed it would look. He also recommended a skilled electrician and plumber who we worked with for the other aspects of the kitchen renovation. "Timber and Meghan were great to work with. The price for the work was extremely reasonable and Timber was very flexible and creative with solutions. The original plan was to power wash and treat the existing fence and pergola. Timber suggested going over the old fence with a new fence and building a new pergola.The overall cost for these changes was pretty much the materials. We provided Timber with a photo of a pergola that we found on line and he recreated it flawlessly. I cannot praise Timber highly enough. We are thrilled with the new deck. One of our friends is a retired home builder who is never impressed. He had nothing but praise for the quality and craftsmanship of the work. We already have plans to engage Timber for additional projects. PS We had to order a new dishwasher while Timber was here. He installed it for us and took the old one away."
