"Jose remodeled two full bathrooms in my townhouse. One of the remodeled bathrooms was a shift in the actual layout/dimensions of the bathroom itself. It entailed moving a wall and configuring a new closet space. I had an idea of how the new layout of the full bath should be, but Jose helped decide the right shower size/vanity dimensions to make the most out of the space. When it came to pick out the finishes, he was very helpful if I had any logistical questions (will it fit? Is it the right type? Will I need any additional parts, etc). Jose is also a great collaborator to brainstorm ideas. He could also gently and respectfully talk me out of a couple of my bad ideas which I appreciated. A couple of unforeseen issues arose during the construction that were outside the scope of the project and Jose talked me through the problem and was able to get the right people (HVAC, Plumber, etc) out to fix the issues. One thing that I found to be incredibly valuable was that Jose was VERY responsive via phone call or text messaging. I could call or text him day or night if I had any questions/concerns. I would highly recommend Jose and J&J Angeles Home Improvement. I am definitely planning on hiring Jose and his team for future projects."

"Overall everything went well. They were very responsive, came around 8:30 each day when I was told they’d arrive between 8-9, and the owner checked in on the worker each day. I was pleased he put up a plastic sheet to block off the area while sanding so the dust didn’t end up all over. The person doing the work did need to borrow our screwdriver and use a garbage bag so it was slightly surprising he didn’t have everything he’d need himself. Additionally there are a few noticeable scrape marks in the mud which will need to be patched up. For the most part though we are happy with the work and how efficient they were."

"Leo and his team did an outstanding job for me (again). I hired Excalibur several years ago to refinish my wood floors and they did such a good job that I reached out to them again to do tackle some larger projects. The attic is outstanding and serves as our new office and our old garage has been rehabilitated - no more leaks! His team was professional and were more than willing to wear masks while working in our home due to the ongoing pandemic. I'm looking into a kitchen remodel down the road and will be reaching out to Leo and Excalibur once again to help with that!"

"My husband and I hired Lasting Strength after a very stressful experience dealing with a previous contractor who did a terrible job remodeling our bathroom--specifically a horrible shower tile job. Adam came to our house to give us an estimate within the week and began work three days later. He was extremely detail-oriented and skilled. He and his associate Danny repaired our bathroom tile work and also did our planned kitchen reno. He did all the carpentry/cabinet work in the kitchen and suggested ideas of how to handle some challenging issues in our kitchen. He executed brilliantly on all these things and left our new kitchen looking exactly as we dreamed it would look. He also recommended a skilled electrician and plumber who we worked with for the other aspects of the kitchen renovation. We were incredibly satisfied with all the work done on our kitchen and bathroom so we asked Adam to repair some rotted wood in our main door entryway area. The wood rot and damage was significantly more extensive than we originally thought, but Adam and Danny did a great job repairing the structural damage and then laid tile over the repaired area. A beautiful tile job, by the way! We couldn't be happier with our home renovation and with our decision to hire Lasting Strength. In addition to being top-knotch professionals, Adam and Danny are also extremely friendly and always willing to go the extra mile for my home. My family will be keeping Adam's number for any future home needs we have. We HIGHLY recommend Lasting Strength."
