"Danny took on our project, which was to build a home on an oddly-shaped, canyon side lot. We hired him as he had experience building on hillsides as well as with working with our architect. Ours was a very difficult project; from Coastal Commission to City approval, as well as with structural engineering. Danny had a plan for how to access and install our caissons into the hillside from day one. Not only that, his crew and sub-contractors showed up everyday, on-time for our year and a 1/2 building period. We communicated nearly every day via text or phone calls; Danny and his supervisor Scott were always VERY responsive. They were also open to alternate ideas in order to cut down construction costs. We've now been in our new home one year, and can honestly say that we are very happy with the craftsmanship and quality of our home. Moreover, the few small issues that we have had (garage door opener; low water pressure), Danny has continued to be responsive and to send his team back out to assist us over this past year. Overall, DM Building is an honest and earnest group of builders who only want the best for your project. I needed to find a contractor who could replace a mid-century bathtub/shower with a walk-in shower for my elderly parents and I needed the job completed as soon as possible. I contacted Adrian who graciously agreed to provide a quote on a Saturday morning. He was very professional and patient with our ideas and questions. He explained all options for our project and provided a quote including project scope later that same day. He also provided several different places to select the specific tile that my parents were looking for. The tile was selected. I notified Adrian who agreed to travel to two different locations to pick up the materials. The project started on the following Thursday as agreed at contract signing. Adrian was in constant communication responding to additional questions and providing updates. Project was completed in one week which is exactly what was promised. The shower is absolutely amazing and my parents are very happy with the workmanship of the finished project. "My experience with Tibi Home Design and specially with the project manager Guliano has been wonderful. I was lucky enough to have Guliano and Tibi Home Design at my house as the people who were remodeling my house. Not only was I happy with all the ideas and new design, but also that he came over each day to the house and personally supervise the work. They kept offering great customer service and high quality of work. I have them for my solar system installation, bathrooms remodeling, new kitchen cabinets & counters, fresh interior paint, popcorn ceiling removal and home automation electrical work all over the house. The workers showed up each day as scheduled, on time and never left for the day until the work was completed. Guliano, was amazing and he was always available for any question or concern but he made sure that the workers knew exactly what I am expecting. "From start to finish a very professional operation. They came out and made measurements and then provided a detailed contract of work to be done. Very good communication of when payments were due and for what. I specifically wanted engineered hardwood made in America and when I selected the product , they ordered it from South Carolina which took about a week. They moved furniture and removed the carpet and tested the slab for moisture. Gavin recommended an additional sealant be applied which took a day to dry. The next day they installed the new floor, moved several large pieces of furniture back for me, and cleaned up. The new floor looks wonderful!"
