"Danny took on our project, which was to build a home on an oddly-shaped, canyon side lot. We hired him as he had experience building on hillsides as well as with working with our architect. Ours was a very difficult project; from Coastal Commission to City approval, as well as with structural engineering. Danny had a plan for how to access and install our caissons into the hillside from day one. Not only that, his crew and sub-contractors showed up everyday, on-time for our year and a 1/2 building period. We communicated nearly every day via text or phone calls; Danny and his supervisor Scott were always VERY responsive. They were also open to alternate ideas in order to cut down construction costs. We've now been in our new home one year, and can honestly say that we are very happy with the craftsmanship and quality of our home. Moreover, the few small issues that we have had (garage door opener; low water pressure), Danny has continued to be responsive and to send his team back out to assist us over this past year. Overall, DM Building is an honest and earnest group of builders who only want the best for your project. "I highly recommend Contractor Adrian Lamb owner of Affordable Builders. I needed to find a contractor who could replace a mid-century bathtub/shower with a walk-in shower for my elderly parents and I needed the job completed as soon as possible. I contacted Adrian who graciously agreed to provide a quote on a Saturday morning. He was very professional and patient with our ideas and questions. He explained all options for our project and provided a quote including project scope later that same day. He also provided several different places to select the specific tile that my parents were looking for. The tile was selected. I notified Adrian who agreed to travel to two different locations to pick up the materials. The project started on the following Thursday as agreed at contract signing.
