"After several long years of designing and permitting our home remodel during the pandemic, we were searching for a good contractor to build out our remodel and second story addition. Avi and David were wonderful; very thorough in explaining the process, answering all of our questions, and settling on a price that was reasonable and within our budget. "After getting three estimates, I selected Dorel from IND to remodel a condo I have in San Pedro. The price was in the middle of the other two (although they were fairly close together.) The project was a total internal remodel including new cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms. The IND Team was fast, efficient and kept up up-to-date with their progress. They were easy to work with and they were on time. (That is unusual with contractors.) The key was getting everything to them when needed so they could keep up with the schedule. I was very impressed with the entire process and used them to do a remodel project in my home. They value their customers and Dorel sent a few gifts at different times as a thank you for my business. "A slope in our yard made the space hard to use, so we added a retaining wall. Way To Go Builders managed the project and suggested a reinforce concrete footing to support the block wall above it. The crew dug a deep trench, installed rebar, and poured a solid base. Once cured, the wall was built up and capped for a clean look. Drainage was included with weep holes and gravel backfill, which prevents water buildup behind the wall. The wall spans nearly 40 feet, transforming the yard into usable, level space."
