He suggested the best type/size of tile, grout color, edging etc. that would create the best look. He took his time and was very detail oriented. He did not take shortcuts or worry about the amount of time he had to spend on the project to make sure it was right. He was willing to negotiate his labor cost upfront and never tried to add additional labor cost even thought the project took a little longer than expected due circumstances beyond his control. He asked for half of the cost upfront and the other half only after the project was completed, inspected by me, and any issues resolved. Jeff is also very good at offering alternatives when things don't go quite as planned (sourcing fixtures, working around secrets hidden in walls, etc) and suggestions when you need some guidance in making a decision. Also, he and his guys are good with communication via text/phone. No one had to be home for much of the process and I had no reservations about leaving the key for whomever was scheduled to work. The work space was tidied up at the end of every day so I didn't have step over 'construction mess' everywhere. I plan to use them again for the kitchen remodel."
