"Well, I am one of the "lucky" few that began a major kitchen remodel right before the Covid-19 pandemic, mid Feb 2020! After meeting with Golan and Aaron a couple of times at the end of 2019, I decided that H&A was the company to go with. They were forthcoming, passionate, energetic, fair priced, and full of ideas in term of my kitchen remodel. I had previously gotten a bid from an individual contractor which was lower than H&A, but what appealed to me about H&A over the individual contractor was that H&A is a "one stop shop", providing design (including 2-D and 3-D plans), permitting, planning, construction, inspections, etc. I was very nervous to begin the demolition, but, Golan & Aaron made me feel comfortable with the process. I was not only replacing floor, countertop, and appliances, but majorly reconfiguring the kitchen footprint, including losing a wall between the kitchen and the third bedroom. Golan was ON IT! His subcontractors were prompt, reliable, professional, and detail oriented, and they showed up at 8AM sharp EVERY SINGLE DAY. I was extremely impressed with the quality of workmanship! The counters! WOW! The backsplash, WOW! They matched into my 72 year old original thin plank red oak hardwood floors to integrate the kitchen remodel and it is SEAMLESS. One other feature I really liked with their bid was that, although they included the cabinets in their bid, all other finishes were up to me. So I could buy the backsplash/counter/appliances/flooring anywhere I wanted with no markup from H&A. The cabinet designer, Avi, that I met with was super flexible and had great ideas on how to maximize efficiency in my kitchen. He suggested features that I am SO happy with every day! All in all, the whole process was seamless and amazing, and ON TIME and ON BUDGET! During a PANDEMIC!!! What??!! I could not be more thrilled with my kitchen. I would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone looking for a one-stop-shop for remodel or home additions. YAY H&A!"

"We hired IND Construction for a complete kitchen remodel in my 1940 home. This is the second time that we hired IND Construction. IND Construction completed a fabulous main floor bathroom remodel for us two years ago. We were so happy with the results of our bathroom that there was no question as to which contractor we would use for the kitchen. David and IND Construction were our guys! David is extremely knowledgeable and offered suggestions that were helpful and in tune with our taste. His workers are craftsmen who are well healed in their trades. They also were reliable, honest and trustworthy which is equally as important. Davids bid was very reasonable for our remodel especially given the quality and level of craftsmanship that he continually delivers. The project was estimated to be completed in 3 months and was actually completed a week early. We are thrilled with our new kitchen as you can see from the beautiful pictures! "I think every home remodel project hinges on the quality of the contractor -- and Fred, the owner of Deco Construction, is at the top of my list when I think of good people to work with.
He's very friendly and easy to get along with, which is important given how stressful it can be to go through a major home project. He  he has a lot of knowledge about the different ways (and best ways) to get a job done. He cares about doing quality work for his customers. We came to trust his judgment when it came to picking out something for our home, and he usually made great choices. And when he made the wrong choice, he admitted it and agreed to the change that we asked for.
 
There were some bumps along the way, and some unexpected costs that pushed up the cost of our project. But our home is better off for the long-term fixes that came up during the project. And I like the contractors that Fred used to help him complete the job. 
I won't go into all of the details, but Fred did a really good job for us. He kept his workers busy nearly 6 days a week to try to get the project done as quickly as possible. We really liked his crew, except for one worker who didn't seem to care about quality; and after talking to Fred, that worker did not return to our home. 
Bottom line: Our whole family came away from the experience thinking of him as "Uncle Fred" -- sort of a family friend more than a contractor. He really cares about his customers, about doing the job right, and making sure that the customer is happy and the home is being cared for in the right way.
I strongly suggest that you contact Fred about your home project. He will give you the million-dollar treatment even though you don't have that kind of budget.
