"As a member of their maintenance club, I get a spring and fall maintenance visit included. Just had Neal from Trusted Heating and Cooling out to do the fall visit. He was very thorough, cleaned and tuned everything up, and in addition, explained to me how the whole system worked, and what all those pipes and wires do, exactly. (Who knew there's a little light that blinks out a code if something is wrong?) Very happy with the service.

"My heat pump (15 years old) quit working just as it got cold. No heat due to a freon leak in the compressor. Goettl's suggested replacement due to age and the high cost of repair (mostly driven by excessive pricing for freon R22). I decided to replace and got several bids on various options for replacement (2 local companies chose not to give me a bid, Verde sol never called back, Best by Farr just never delivered an estimate). Goettl's was my low and best bid. I decided on switching to gas heat and AC and removed the heat pump.
They delivered on rework to the fan room that cleaned up the prior haphazard installation. Justin and Lorenzo worked diligently until the job was done late in the day. Work is excellent and the high efficiency system is working great. I am very pleased with all aspects of this job.

Somehow, Carpet Police got usurped by another company called Arizona Island. Arizona Island did a terrible job and I called Carpet Police, again, to please come and repair the bad carpet cleaning that was done. "I contacted Alltech Solutions, Inc., for a swamp cooler repair. The water was not reaching the cooler, and it was very, very hot in my home, and my backup, room-sized AC units didn't even phase the 100+ temps outside. They kindly scheduled me on the Friday just prior to the Memorial Day Weekend, since I called them on Thursday. I wasn't expecting that they could fit me in for the next day, but they did. The technicians I met were extremely polite and cordial, and very quick and competent in resolving what the issues were -- no fuss, no fanfare. The price was very good as well.
