"We had a wonderful experience with Comfort Energy! The service person, whose name was Chance, did a thorough evaluation of the problem with a focus on saving us as much money as possible, to either repair or replace our 30-year-old heat furnace. He quickly determined that our inlet filter was too dense (it was a Merv 11 and should have been a Merv 8) and that that was probably causing the heater to go off an on every 5-10 minutes. He then tested and confirmed his hypothesis. He also performed a CO test to make sure there wasn't anything more serious going on. Finally, he gave us a good idea of replacement options, which we should probably do before the next Winter, but not necessarily right away. All in all, this is exactly the kind of assessment we needed, and it cost orders of magnitude less than what was estimated by the first service company we had come out. Chance was great, and Comfort Energy is our go-to for heating and cooling service and/or installation from now on."

"I first contacted Valley to get a quote on how much it would cost to get air conditioning installed. I live in an older town home that is approximately 1100 sq. ft. They sent someone out to take a look and see what was involved. He was very professional and explained what was involved including getting permits from the city. He quoted the amount and provided me with an invoice. I contacted them 3 months later to say I was ready for the install. The installation turned out to be quite challenging due to the way my home is constructed, but Valley made it work. The service person had to stay a few hours longer but I wasn't charged anything extra for it. They stuck with the amount of the estimate that was quoted. It's only been a couple of months since the install, but I have to say my only complaint at this point is how cold it gets when I turn on the air. But that's a nice problem to have. :)"

I spoke with several companies to see about quotes and scheduling. a clean out for my dryer vent before I had a new dryer installed. Silicon Valley Air Experts called me right away, listened to the job and provided a transparent initial assessment and cost estimate. While talking to them I also learned about cleaning all the air ducts, which I hadn't done in some time. They showed up on time, completed all of the work efficiently and cleaned up afterward. "I needed to have techs come back to fix 2 issues after the install, one was a loose wire connection going to the fan asm. and the other was a rain / water leak from the roof hood covering the air input / exit. In both cases, the techs found and fix the issues in a timely manner and their troubleshooting was spot on¦. The install did take time but it was impressive to watch them remove a 40 years old unit and install a new one.¦"
