"I contacted Bluestar Air Mechanical for a second opinion after an appointment with Air One. I have a Carrier HVAC system, and the Air One technician recommended a complete system replacement, claiming the blower was bad, the furnace control board needed replacing, and that there were other issues. Since replacing the HVAC is a big investment, I wanted to get a second opinion. It was only after comparing the service from Bluestar that I realized Air One may have been pushing for a new system sale or lacked the expertise to properly diagnose and repair the actual problems. Isaac, the technician from Bluestar, spent about an hour thoroughly diagnosing and fixing the issues. He found burnt wiring in the furnace and discovered that the wrong capacitor had been incorrectly installed in the AC. Isaac replaced the burnt wiring in the furnace and the capacitor in the AC. After these repairs, my Carrier system was back up and running—without the need for a costly replacement. Bluestar, and Isaac in particular, demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and honesty. They focused on resolving the actual issues instead of pushing for an unnecessary system replacement. "I have two air conditioning units that were leaking. Home Advisor recommended three companies I could choose from, to come to my home and give me an estimate. I chose I-HVAC Solutions since they had the best reviews and I am so happy I did! I called I-HVAC Tuesday evening and Sam was able to come to my house the next morning. The two things I noticed right away, was that his truck was clean and very professional, and he put on booties before entering my house. He looked at both units and was able to tell me right away what was causing the leak. In addition to repairing the leak, he also pointed out some things that could be a potential problem in the future, as a result of the way the units were installed. In contrast, he shared some good things about the quality of the air conditioning units, and its durability. He reassured me with proper maintenance, the units should run to its full capacity, without making the adjustments he noted. This made me feel as if he was not trying to sell me unnecessary services, put just wanted to bring somethings to my attention (both good and not so good). Sam was very thorough and personable. He even shared with me how he stared his own business. I was so impressed with his professionalism, I asked him to perform the much needed maintenance on one of the units.
