He came back out and sealed all the ducts, installed an air purifier and cleaned and sanitized all the ductwork. He was polite, knowledgeable, professional and hard working. "Great, same day, super efficient. Another company that was first to call me tried to up-sell me on replacing the entire a/c unit instead of topping up the Freon per my request. I said I know things about air conditioning since I am a senior citizen and my systemâ s history, so I was expecting to just get an annual pressure test, routine stuff. So that first guy didnâ t get my business because he failed to respect my preferences and judgement and saying stuff like â R22 is so expensive and itâ s better to change out the unitâ , not realizing I know there are at least four drop-in replacements for R22 today. After that weird phone call, Iâ m glad to have instead used Freezing Pointâ s guy who even with no English ability took care of the job, climbing up on my roof with the refrigerant tank and gauges. I will probably use him again next year for the same service call on my 25 yo. central a/c."
