"After I posted my initial reviews, the owners of Air Temp Service Co. (Mario and Lori) reached out to me, and wanted to make it right. They are a family owned business, and proud of the work they do.We talked about the issues with our interactions with their company. After some additional research, I agree that the Nest Thermostat does need a common wire, and its beneficial that we had it installed. The other issues were due to the technician that was working with us at that time. That technician was removed from the company a few weeks after the work at my house was complete. The technician was responsible for the up charge on service, and pushing us to replace the CPU for our central AC (this should have been communicated as being the worst case scenario instead of the first step to fix the issue).The outside unit which was the main job I contracted Air Temp Service Co. for was installed cleanly and quickly. It was good work. They have also removed the technician who caused my family so much grief. I would say if you are a potential new customer they are worth giving a shot. They will take care of the job, and if you do have an issue they will make it right."

He was able to give me detailed information on my unit's current and expected performance as well as operational knowledge for me to know should I ever have another AC tech look at my system some time in the future. In other words, Ray gave me info that will help me sniff out scammers who would overcharge and/or won't provide me with the repair service expect. My unit is now working better than it ever has considering I bought my home with it already in place. It also don't hut that he is very easy going and professional. We were told the same by another HVAC contractor as well. Robert arrived on time, over July 4th weekend, and within 5 minutes told me that there was a loose wire. He replaced all the old wiring and within 15 minutes had it running perfectly at a cost of $260!
