"Majano Heating and AC came out on schedule. They found that the AC breaker had tripped, and guessed that this was caused by the compressor going bad. I felt stupid for not checking the breaker myself. They charged me $60 for a call-out fee, which I suppose is about average. They also quoted a price of $6000 for a new system or $3000 for just a new compressor, which, again, is probably about average these days, yet still outrageous."

"Had the entire AC/Heating system replaced. Took about 2 days because the inside equipment was in the attic. Prompt, courteous and knowledgeable.
