She explained what went wrong and also showed me how to maintain some things through my routine maintenance. My service call involved a charge as it was Service, labor plus Freon to be added to my unit and the outside unit's battery. Since I have a contract with McCrea, I was not charged for the part that was to be replaced on my unit. My house is slowly cooling down as it was 90 degrees inside my home when she arrived this morning. My house lost the air conditioning on the Fourth of July and on a very hot day. I would highly recommend McCrea Heating and Air Conditioning Services of PA."

The other company, who I will not even bother revealing the name of, gave an estimate that was almost $2000 to replace pipes that they could see, or $8736 to repipe my place. I really just wanted the leak fixed. I called Sheaffer's Mechanical afterwards. They came out very quickly. They were very nice guys who clearly knew what they were doing. They fixed the leak very quickly for $125. Do yourself a favor and contact these guys for any plumbing needs. They are awesome! They also do heating and air conditioning."
