"My initial phone call with the agent was a bit odd. He provided a quote. I was waiting on another quote before I decided. Later in the day I called to confirm I want Porch for the job. He scheduled my appointment. Or I thought he did. On the day of the appointment I no one showed. I called and was informed he did not activate a form request for the job so I had to reschedule. That was frustrating as I had rearranged my schedule be there. The actual job went fine. The person arrived a bit late (but called to inform me). He completed the task in a timely manner. He was very respectful of my home. He cleaned up after himself. And the appliance is working. Yeah!"

"I pay $75 annually for a certain amount of appliances to be covered. What we didn't know is that you still have to pay a service call fee and if the technician deems the appliance still functional they will not fix it and if the technician says there is nothing wrong with the appliance, they will not fix it. In other words, the appliance has to be completely broken in order for them to fix it."

Small jobs welcome

I got into this business because it seems like every day we just throw more and more things away. It's time to stop the flow of appliances to the dump and repair what we already have in our homes and businesses. I won't recommend a replacement unless there are fully discontinued parts in your machine that are not replaceable. I strive to make the repair process as quick and painless as possible, after all we never miss doing laundry until we have to drive all the way to the laundromat to do it!
