The electrician from Mister Sparky was here within an hour, quickly figured out that my original idea (pulling power off an existing light switch) would not work, but found an alternative that took minimal work to install. He thoroughly inspected my washer and showed me the problems. Unfortunately it was more expensive to fix than to replace, which I’m thankful for that information.
