"The guy that came out was nice but really didn’t do a great job of troubleshooting. He said it was a pressure sensor problem and that the whole control board needed to be replaced. He called and gave his shop and they gave me a price of over 350 dollars. I told him no way I’m gonna pay that since it was more than the machine is worth. He then offered that I call the manufacturer to see if they could help which I did. The manufacturer sent their own repair man and that guy just pretty much reset the computer and now my machine works well. I should have just called the manufacturer first. I had to pay the 80 dollar service call to Affordable Appliance for them just to diagnose it. I was charged the 80 at first and the owner Richie contacted me and was very helpful in making my situation right. He refunded me the charge for the service call and offered his business again if I want it in the future. This was a great way to show that he cares about his customers and based by that action, I will recommend him for future jobs."

"We own the 2013 Samsung French Door refrigerator. The appliance is expensive, but of extremely poor quality workmanship. Hub Appliance s team seems well versed in its repair albeit the fridge fan needed replacing. One criticism, they had to order the part and return the next day. It appears the first tech took the screws to the part, because he thought that he would return to replace the fan; he did not return, and left the second tech scrambling to his vehicle to find replacement screws. In the future, may I suggests that all required parts be put back on the appliances, in case the original tech cannot return, and not leave a potentially time consuming and unfortunate event for the second tech and customer."

"We’ve recently reached out to Stocker Appliance for our dishwasher that was was not able to complete a full wash. We kept getting an OE error and water was remaining in the bottom without being fully drained. Ryan was amazing! He was right on point with what the issue was. It started humming very loudly and displayed a PF (power failure) error, indicating a blown fuse or a control board failure. Wintley Baptiste from The Equipment Doctors stopped by two days after I made contact through Angi. He diagnosed the problem as a failed control board and said he would have to order the part and come back in 7-10 days to install it. He gave me an estimated price for the part and labor to install it and asked if I wanted to proceed. I said yes (if I had said no, I would owe $150 for the visit and diagnosis). Wintley called a week later, saying he had the part and could stop by that same day to install it. He did so and the microwave is working fine. The price to repair the microwave was $330. By comparison, a new microwave would have cost at least $500."
