"My contractor removed the wall and now I have a wonderful open-island kitchen with granite.  Kamran was amazing, super professional, responsive and very honest from a price perspective.  He charged only 275 for one inspection, when all the other structural engineering company who gave me a quotation, would have charged 400-500 dollars only for the inspection.  He charged me only once, even if he came out twice.  So happy with his services, I decided to call him again to assess the possibility to place a roof-deck on my roof.  He came, inspected the roof, made a positive assessement and did not charge me for the visit, saying that if we decided to move forward with the deck, he would have charged me next time when he would come to take the measurements.  Kamran was so kind to provide me with the contact of another contractor specialized in roof decks, with prices much more competitive than those on the market. I am very happy with his service and will for sure contact him again every time I will need a structural engeneering advice.

"This is the second landscaping job that we have hired Lasaro at Horizon Landscaping Designs for. This time we had a ~15 ft long 3 ½ ft high stacked stone retaining wall with in built natural stone stairway put in to replace an older wooden retaining wall. Lasaro, as always, is responsive, professional, reasonably priced, and does a good quality job. Lasaro ensured that we were happy with the job, taking time to arrange a few selected stones, and took extra care to remove the old retaining wall and to minimize the impact on adjacent plants when putting in the new wall. Would hire him again."

"Justin came by to evaluate the job on a Saturday morning after missing our initially scheduled meeting, getting hung up on another project.  He was pleasant and knowledgeable about what was needed to complete the job.  He promised an estimate by Monday and followed through on that promise.  He was able to work us in within a couple of days later.  He and his two man crew hung the drywall in a single day, working around garage door openers support brackets and other unique cuts.  I was impressed when he pointed out that he had marked the multiple drain pipe cleanouts and valves buried behind the drywall for future reference.  The gentleman he sent the following morning completed the mud and tape work.  My only critique would be that he seemed to rush to finish and the work done in the later part of the morning did not match the quality of his work early on and it will require some touch up work on my part.  However, I was very pleased overall with the quality of the work, the professionalism of the workmen and the great attitude displayed by everyone.  I would not hesitate to hire Adam Contracting again.

"Todd Willoughby is a very talented architect. We have had the pleasure of working with him to design our custom home in Middleburg, Virginia. Todd is extremely knowledgeable about residential and commercial construction. This is our third custom home, and we have worked with several other architects on various projects through the years. My husband is in commercial construction and has worked with numerous architects in the past forty years. The biggest difference with Todd is that we felt as though he wanted to design the house that WE wanted, not the house that he wanted to design for us. "1) I had signed a contract with a brick/masonry company on September 10, 2019, to construct a full brick veneer on the front of my house. The crew worked one day, October 14, 2019, then nothing! Sometime after that, the firm concluded my project required a building permit approved by Loudoun County, VA. I signed a blank building permit form in November. 2) Doug was hired by the firm to conduct a structural engineers analysis of my house and to prepare drawings and written guidance for the construction of the brick veneer wall, for review by the Loudoun County building permit office. 3) Doug came on November 11, 2019, to survey my house. He was on time, efficient and courteous. He knew exactly how to plan and execute his assignment. He did not waste his or my time. Yet he did take the time to answer all of my questions. 4) He minimized demolition needed to analyze the structure by cutting a piece of drywall from the garage (vs the living space) 5) He submitted his work deliverable to the brick/masonry firm ahead of his contract schedule. 6) On a couple of occasions since his November 11, 2019 appointment, he has contacted me to check on the progress of the project. (Work resumed in January 2020.) I believe he genuinely cares that my project is completed properly and to my satisfaction."
