"I contacted three big-name companies to access a series of basement wall cracks. Two came and proposed differing actions. Neither solution, nor costs, appealed to me. I needed expert engineering guidance. Researched several candidates, and selected Mina Mikaeel. I informed him of relevant details about the house, and of my meeting with the basement people. He conducted a thorough assessment of the structure and the land grading. During that process, he advised me on the causes of the cracks and suggestions on how I can easily prevent more. He cited the pros and cons of Basement Repair companies, and then explained â with evidenceâ that my situation was not as serious as those folks led me to believe. Mr. Mikaeel then defined a corrective action plan: citing the necessary actions, the equipment needed, cuts to be made, the sequence, and specific materials for sealing. He also recommended qualified people, and offered to come back to assess their work. The work was completed. I have peace of mind (and a warranty on that work)!
