"I contacted three big-name companies to access a series of basement wall cracks. Two came and proposed differing actions. Neither solution, nor costs, appealed to me. I needed expert engineering guidance. Researched several candidates, and selected Mina Mikaeel. I informed him of relevant details about the house, and of my meeting with the basement people. He conducted a thorough assessment of the structure and the land grading. During that process, he advised me on the causes of the cracks and suggestions on how I can easily prevent more. He cited the pros and cons of Basement Repair companies, and then explained â with evidenceâ that my situation was not as serious as those folks led me to believe. Mr. Mikaeel then defined a corrective action plan: citing the necessary actions, the equipment needed, cuts to be made, the sequence, and specific materials for sealing.
