"Why can we only leave a 5 star rating? Christopher and crew exceeded our expectations for our restoration project. Our project was to replace the decorative wrap on the 16 foot support columns on the entrance porch at the front of our house. The original wrap was 20 years old and parts had begun to rot. During the bid process Christopher suggested that we replace the wooden wrap with a Hardy plank type material that would last longer than wood. (the original wood wrap was painted). During the removal of the original wrap we noticed that the wrap framing was fairly lightweight, just enough to give the wrap something to be nailed to. Christopher removed the lightweight framing and installed a stronger frame. The new wrap that was installed looks considerably better and richer. The attention to detail, down to the router work on decorative panels, is impressive. Christopher was very responsive to our questions and every day they left the worksite spotlessly clean."

"Matt and his assistant were promp and professional. Diagnosed the problem perfectly and were great to work with. I appreciated that they were able to schedule the work for us for the next day as our awning was in danger of falling down. I would recommend them highly."

"They were very honest and professional. The job required was outside of what they normally do, but they overcame many obstacles to make it a success. Although they used more man hours and more supplies than anticipated they completed the job and more without raising the price. During the actual construction process I was able to inject my opinions and get things done exactly how I wanted. I am very satisfied with their work."

Retractable awnings are not designed to be used in the rain. They are intended to provide shade on dry, sunny days, rather than protecting people and furnishings from precipitation, and certainly not against heavy storms. The retractable awning may be fine with a light drizzle, but you should retract it if you expect inclement weather or severe storms.
Depending on your local climate conditions, some retractable awnings can be used year-round, including during both winter and summer. However, you should carefully check the instructions for your specific product and find out what steps you should take to winterize the awning fabric. Sometimes, you can purchase a special cover to place over the material during winter.
Retractable awnings offer significant benefits by instantly enhancing outdoor comfort and protecting your furniture and living spaces from harmful UV exposure and inclement weather. They provide efficient shade that lowers cooling expenses and add a modern, stylish touch to your home’s exterior. Their installation extends the usable area of patios and decks while reducing maintenance needs by safeguarding surfaces against sun damage and rain.
