It definitely needed some TLC. I was contacted by Lisa the day after my submission for a project. Her husband, Jay was able to come by the same day, give a reasonable quote, and complete the job within a couple of days. They exceeded my expectations in every way. "Years of homeownership have taught me that the most difficult thing to get a contractor to do is to show up! Geani Vasile showed up on time to do the estimate, started the work when planned and finished ahead of schedule! I have a rental house in Tucson but I live in Kentucky. Needed to get some work done, a 20 item punch list, to prepare the house for sale. This could have been really difficult from so far away but Geani made it easy. He sent before and after photos every day with progress report. I was able to come to Tucson as Geani was finishing up the project. I was completely satisfied with the work performed. "Very detailed. Had a difficult cracked ceiling to repair. Pulled a section of plasterboard down, reinforced the joists , replaced, skimmed and painted. This was a lot of â wetâ work so he had to come back a number of times to apply the next layer. Shielded the rest of the house from the dust as much as he could and cleaned up after himself continuously. Did the best job that was possible. Time will tell if this will not crack again, but he did all that he could. The work ended up costing about $65/hr. Ace Handyman Services were quoting $100/hr on another job I was going to get done, which is exorbitant. Hire Gilligan if you can, he will do good work for you at a better price. One negative: he expressed interest in another job I had, but repeatedly delayed giving me a quote or telling me outright he didnâ t want to do it. I asked a number of times if he wanted to do it. He would always answer â yesâ but never came through with the quote. Quite disappointed. He fobbed me off in the end. Lost me three weeks waiting for a response from him. Nothing in the end. ."
