"I have a 15 year old deck off our main floor that totals about 642 'sq. Over the years I have re-stained it and replaced a few boards and this year I noticed it seemed in worse shape and I was dreading doing all that again myself. So I called 'Jim the Handyman' for their free estimate. I accepted that after their on-site review and two fellows came to move many things off the deck and power wash. They cleaned up the mess that made and the work revealed more boards were rotting than earlier could be seen. So, slightly revised cost estimate and then larger crew for one day of carpentry and then two days of staining. I am a believer in DIY but this time I'm glad I called on the professionals. Great quality and good value. I recommend them. And I was glad to say farewell to many rotten boards."

"Hire with confidence, this was the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. I’m moving out of state and needed my new townhouse painted. Andreas, the owner, quickly went onsite to quote my project, suggested additional work (which needed to be done) and provided a detailed written proposal. The day of the project, Andreas and his crew of 5 or 6 painting the interior of my home (ceilings, baseboards & walls) completing the project in only one day! The quality of their work is exceptional - walls were patched & prepped, walls required 2 coats and high quality Sherwin Williams paint was used. Their clean-up was also really impressive. The handrails will definitely help my spouse with their mobility limitations. Abel was prompt in responding to a request for an estimate. He helped us devise a good solution and took the extra effort to ensure the new handrails complimented the existing ones (i.e. similar wood, shape, color, and finish) and met our expectations. "We were assisted by Steve in the sales process. he has been in the business for 15 years and while he is a bit of a salesman, we liked his "no nonsense" approach. He came to our home, designed the elements, and then allowed us to change configuration. What was helpful is having him be definitive in his advice of what works and what doesn't work. But he was also open to feedback and changing things that we wanted to see created differently. I think expertise in the sales cycles was very helpful.
We were provided a quote which was the most reasonable of the 6 that we had received in total. The biggest advantage of working with Closets by Design was Steve's responsiveness, during the sales cycle and afterwards. He followed up promptly with a quote, was not pushy, but continued to check in. Last minute and weekend emails received prompt responses. This level of services continued, and while he was unable to stop by on the installation date, he did follow up to check in and see who the service went. It is nice to meet a sales person, who understands the value of a customer relationship and doesn't ditch the customer the moment the check is signed.
We received excellent and friendly service during the installation process, with a call ahead of time reminding us of the schedule. The house was well protected during the installation process and we had a sense that the installers and the company respected us and our home, trying to stay out of our way and keep things as contained and clean as possible.
On the whole, we received excellent service, a good product and would recommend using the company.
