"NO WORK was completed by this company for me, however, I had List something. This Review is about the character of the owner Gene. A quick, heartfelt thank you to a genuinely kind human who paid it forward this past Sunday at breakfast. I’m in Georgia visiting a relative, and after church we decided food was exactly what we needed. The restaurant was busy, but there happened to be one single seat left at the counter next to us. A gentleman took it and quickly proved he wasn’t a stranger for long. He clearly knew the waitstaff — lots of joking and easy conversation — and we ended up chatting right along with him. He finished before we did, quietly paid our bill, and wished us a good day. Such a simple gesture, and yet it meant so much. We learned he owns Acton Home Solutions in Abbeville, Alabama — and based on our brief encounter, he’s full of kindness. Sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar. (Well… scholar, we can’t fully confirm since we didn’t quiz you in trivia.)"

"I received an email a few days later with the estimate for labor, which we were fine with. However, there was no information in the email about the hardware, so I replied with a request for that information. There was another back and forth while I tried to help her (his assistant, who is the one who sends his emails) understand that there had apparently been some snafu at the beginnng, on their part. She was extremely condescending, a poor communicator and, at the end of our conversation, downright rude! Next thing I know I receive an email "declining this job" and recommending Lowes. Lol. I know Jason is very busy and aren't we all! However, the person who acts as your liaison to your potential customers can make or break you and I believe she is costing him money! I hate to see our business relationship come to an end, particularly after sending him tens of thousands of dollars in referrals, but it is what it is."
