"We hired Herc and the Derek Construction team for a deck project The job consisted of a tear down and new build. The job was completed in 8 days (one rainy day) from start to finish. The guys arrived early and did a full days work. The owner was on-site for the majority of job and was accessible on a daily basis.

The price was fair and they were able to complete a separate job (new framing & stairs leading to the yard) within the same time frame that the deck was estimated for.

He clearly took the time to understand what I was looking for, was willing to price out multiple options for us, took the time to explain things to me, and kept in touch with me throughout. He even took the time to neatly line up the things he had to move to put up the fence (which ended up being a lot the way my kids throw things around the yard) and cleaned up everything, leaving my yard itself looking a lot better than it did before he got there. Overall a great experience, and I would consider hiring him again when we need a handyman. "

He did various carpentry projects around the house including raising the height of the ceiling to the basement, trim around the door, residing of a shed, and reattaching a railing. Some plastering needed to be done in the stairway, so he brought in his own professional to be sure to be it was done perfectly I will definitely use him again.
