"Mike installed some crown molding that we had purchased from someone who was remodeling their approx. 100-year old house that matched very closely to the molding we already had in other rooms in our house (also around 100-years old). Mike did an incredible job - it looks better than what we had expected. It looks like it's been there since the house was built, which is exactly what we were looking for. We highly recommend Mike - he was very easy to work with, very communicative, and very skilled at what he does!"

"Easy process from start to finish. They are a family business and they did an amazing job. There were multiple problems because it is an old house but all were resolved. Our master bathroom looks beautiful and all credit goes to Top Brothers, you cannot find a better construction team. We would work with them again and recommend them for any kind of project."

"I had exterior lights installed, drywall ceiling repair, shower tile repair and the tv mounted on wall. Kevin is prompt, friendly and most importantly very skilled with any of the work he and his crew do. They also clean up the work area so that you don’t even know they were there. Everything is perfect, I can’t say enough about how satisfied I am with the results. The thing that impresses me most is I had 4 very different jobs, and each one was completed like it was his area of expertise. They are very competitively priced on top of it all. I highly recommend The Handy Veteran- you won’t be disappointed"

"They did a fantastic job. Very clear with communicated details and price, plus gave some great suggestions especially if they felt like another option would look better. We originally hired them to change our stair railings and ended up helping us with hanging/fixing closet doors as well as finished our stairs going to the basement too. On time every morning and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Highly recommend them!"

"Mary offered great advice on how to make our garage more functional, and was extremely receptive to our feedback. The guys who installed the cabinets did a great job! Overall we are very happy."

"Raymond Kotlarz is a true journeyman carpenter. Kotlarz has done many projects for me and has always demonstrated quality workmanship. Kotlarz is best carpenter I've hired and will continue to utilize Kotlarz moving forward. From building a new bathroom to a kitchen that can be in a Amazing Kitchens Magazine. Kotlarz does not take any shortcuts and does quality work. True professional Carpenter."

"I only wish every company was ran this professionally! From scheduling, picking out our selections from beautiful options, install communication and final walkthrough, working with Chicagoland Home Products was perfection! Our walk in closets are simply stunning and our children’s bedroom closets have all the organization that could ever need. I would work with them again in a second…and we know in today’s cutting corners world that saying something like that doesn’t come easy. Zero complaints!"

"Replaced dropdown stairs to attic. He was the only contractor I asked for estimates that came out and examined the job. He was always punctual. The price was fair. Peter did a fine job and cleaned up well afterwards. I would definitely hire him again."

"VERY GOOD CARPENTERS EXCELLENT CRAFTMANSHIP THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING."

"Roman came to my house to review the project and we negotiated cost. I felt he was fair/polite and was happy to work with him. Was also pleased that he had availability that same week I wanted to start the project. He came prepared and took great care while working in my home to ensure the work area was clean after he was done. The end result of the project also met my expectation of quality. As other reviewers have said he may work a little slow but the quality speaks for itself. I much rather have the job done right than rushed with a poor quality of work. I would recommend Roman if you need help on certain jobs around the house and I will hire him again for any new projects that come around."
