"Man, it's so expensive for anything you have to do to your house. Sticker shock is crazy but once you get over the fact that no matter who you hire, it's going to cost more than you expected then you can find the best team for the job. I chose deck because they simply specialize in decks. It wasn't cheap but they weren't crazy expensive like some of the other quotes I got. I had one quote $40k to replace a few boards and paint the entire deck and stairs. Another company wanted $20k, another company told me to knock it down. WHAT? Anyway I went with Ideck for $4500. They were quick and used the good paint and primer."

"Isaac went above and beyond on this job. He built steps going downhill along the side of the deck. He replaced the posts and joists underneath the deck and sanded, refinished and painted the pergola. We had our wood slats removed and replaced with custom cable railings which came out even better than I expected. He was very easy to work with and extremely accommodating. He worked within our budget as well. I interviewed about 10 contractors for this job and had a great feeling about Isaac and his company and he was willing and able to do exactly what I wanted. I feel that communication is so important when doing any construction project and he was great at that and letting me know everything that was happening. I highly recommend him and can’t wait to hire him for my next project. I absolutely love the end result of my backyard!"

"I was originally planning to get a wooden door, but Tony explained how much cheaper and easier it would be just to get a pre-hung metal door. He explained it would never need maintenance (as, of course, wood does), and all I'd ever have to do is just hose it down. None of the other people I interviewed for the job thought to suggest that, and one of them gave me an estimate of $1,500! I am very happy with the door; it's heavy-duty and looks just like wood. The replacement molding wasn't an exact profile match but after he was done installing and painting, you would never know. It looks perfect. I also hired him to clean off a shed roof that was a mess. It turned out to be more work than he expected but he honored his bid and did another great job and cleaned up beautifully. He is a really great guy and we look forward to having him help us with our bathroom remodel."
